Thank you for sharing the information about Tinycent and congratulate to those who have got paid by the site. It’s good to know another paying site and I am more motivated to write there too.

I just joined Tinycent lately and have a few questions regarding the site:

1. Why do we need to enter our phone number? For those who have got paid, were you contacted after you requested for payment? Via text message?

2. Is there anyone got paid via PayPal? I only know @sunil and @swalia have got paid by the site, but if I am not mistaken, Indians are paid via bank transfer, am I right?

3. What is the server reset time? How do you know you have reached 10 posts of the day?

I understand the site is still new and they are still solving some problems here and there, as I cannot comment on the posts now and the latest post I just submitted was under “Quality Admin”. I have contacted the admin for this.

Hope I will reach my first payout soon and get paid too. 🙂

@sunil I did not know there are certain contents they are not acceptable to the editors. Did they state the reasons when the articles were rejected? Do you mind telling us what are those that are not acceptable here?

@swalia I agree with peach that you are doing great as you can write so many articles in a day. I am trying hard to write one post per day now. I wonder if there are many posts in queue so the moderators need more time to review them, or perhaps as you said it’s weekend. I guess I will just write whenever I have any ideas if the site does not limit us.

Hope you will get the confirmation by support very soon. I wonder if they are too busy now, as I seldom saw them replying late last time. I have not been been checking this site for long time, so I do not know how things work now. I really need to find time to catch up to everything here. 😀

@bestwriter It’s good to know so many of you have joined tinycent. I am glad to get so much information about the site from you all. So we earn by the views we get for our posts there, am I right? I am not sure if I will get many views, but I will give it a try.

Thank you for sharing this post. I just knew about tinycent and want to find out more about it. Though this discussion is talking about the negative comments, at least I got to know the bank information is not required for all, I did not Indians cannot send PayPal payments to Indian users, that’s a bit strange for me. Glad to know so many have already requested for payment. Hope everyone will receive their payment soon.

I have not find FAQ from tinycent site yet, so I do not know how it works and the minimum payout too. I am still checking it out. 🙂

So, do you all enjoy spending time in tinycent? Is it a very new site and can we write personal posts like how we did in Bubblews? It would be nice if we can have a site where we can write casually and freely and yet still earn some tiny cents. By the way, the site looks simple and fast to me.

I have not been setting my goals for quite a long time, as I hardly foresee how much time I will have each day, with the little baby all the time. I am still trying to make some goals which I would like to meet for the day, but I will just ignore all of them when my baby needs me.

My goals for today (10 August 2016):

Work:

1) Write a post in LiteracyBase (done).

2) Start a discussion in myLot (done).

3) Write 10 forum comments in ForumCoin.

4) Participate as much as I can in LB forum and myLot.

5) Upload a website to the live server.

6) Fix an issue in one of my software project, and make it ready for demonstration.

Personal:

1) Go to the park and have breakfast with the children.

2) Clean and organize the living room. I have to get the cleaning done as soon as possible, as my parents in law are coming to visit us this weekend. 😀

I just checked this thread, and found some great comments that I have not read. This reminds me of the moment I was waiting to deliver my baby, and now I am so happy that he is now sleeping sweetly in my hand. Time passes so quickly! Isn’t life really amazing?

@4cryingoutloud I like the term “online grand baby”. It is really my pleasure to go through these special moments with you all here. It is nice that my baby has so many online grand aunts or uncles here.

@morgoodie The beanie was too small and could not fit my baby, so he never use it. I wanted to make it bigger when I discharged, but I just did not do it. 😀

I might still make it bigger or even change it to another pattern later when I have more time for it. 🙂

@grecy095 Thanks for thinking of me. I think I will always be on FC, as it is a good site to stay and gain information too.

@sunil I did not know you got a bad comment in mylot recently. Sometimes I do read responses from others’ discussions, but I always do not understand those “jokes”. Perhaps I am more “serious” type of person, or I do not understand those English jokes, so I usually stick to those “serious” mylotters as well. I do not have thick skin, hence I try to stay away from those people who like to make fun of others as well. Maybe because of this, I am still happily staying on mylot. 🙂

@lovern You are doing great at mylot, and good to hear that you like mylot too. I also treat it as my virtual home, as I can always write there freely. I enjoy writing and reading stuffs about our daily life there. I do not get to redeem monthly as I am not really active there, but with the new minimum payout as $5, I hope I can make a redemption there monthly.

I think there are many companies not appreciate the staff at all. They think they are “helping” the staff as they pay them, but they forget without the staff, the company will not be able to run well. I like those companies that think staff is the main assets of the company, and hence they will show their appreciation to their staff, not only in monetary gift, but always say it verbally. I understand it is our responsibility to perform well at work, it will make the staff feel much better and will continue to contribute if they are appreciated.

Hope you will still get to work well in that company. 🙂

Actually I am fine with the comment. Firstly, I think LB team is really respectful and kind as they even published posts that do not talk only good things about them, which I think they are doing something good. As LB is a blogging site, I think it should allow members to express their opinions freely, as long as they do not against the rules. I think the team is really humble and willing accept the feedback from us. I do think good employers should be like that too. They should listen to different kinds of feedback or even criticism, of course they do not need to follow everything the employees said, but they should analyze and think if they should make a change. I think it’s not a world that employer is “boss” now, where the employees should only listen, but not say anything.

If I were a employer, I would like my staff to tell me something that I can improve too, but preferably they tell me frankly and nicely. 😀

It seems to me BB is heading more towards a professional article writing site rather than a casual blogging site. Though I think it is always good to learn to write better, it may not for all the people. I have not been joining those professional writing sites, as I do not think I am qualified for them, so I just always write in these social networking sites, though I am earning much lesser.

I guess all of us, including the owner and editors have no idea how much the coin value is and how much we can earn there, perhaps it needs to take some time to pay us well. It is quite difficult to make decision whether to write there, it seems to be a good site with good intention, but since it requires lots of effort and is uncertainty in the coin value, we are already busy with many things online and offline, I am not sure if we have more time to spend there, though I understand a new site certainly needs our support.

By the way, I think it is easier to navigate in BB. I do agree that loading in LB is much slower, so sometimes when my computer is slow, it is a bit difficult to visit LB.

I got a shock when I read the title of this thread, as I never thought LB is discriminating. It has always been a very nice place. Glad that support replied you so quickly, so the “bad news” will not be spread. (It sounds like the support is watching the forum and us very closely which is good, so he can always respond to us as quick as possible.)

Yes, I can see @Shavkat picture with other pretty ladies there. Actually I seldom check the boxes on the Home page, perhaps I should check them out that more often.

@support Since you mentioned these are auto generated, I assume the Active Members section is also auto generated too. I still see my name being displayed in the Active Members section though I have not been active for really long time. I see bestwriter and some other members are very active on the site lately, but I did not see their names there. I just wonder if the algorithm still works nicely.

Someone saw this message “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chatabout is no longer available” on the site, but I did not. I only saw blank page. I do hope the site will be back, though I know many were disappointed by the site as it banned members from accessingg without giving any reason, and the site used to pay much better and was more active. I just joined a few months ago, and have been paid 7 times promptly. I like this site as it is something slightly different from the other sites I join, so when I am bored, I always go there and earn a few points.

Yes, I think it’s really bad if it just closed down like this. Bubblews at least gave a notice on the site though I’d prefer if they gave us prior notice so we can make a backup of our articles. I do not remember if I have a copy of the articles I published there.

I just got my payment last week, so I am thinking they might be just updating their site, hence it’s not available now. Perhaps server issue?

I also got the “404 Not Found” error. This is the first time I experienced server down time from chatabout, as the site was always up and running well. It was Double Point Tuesday yesterday, but we did not get any sections or announcement for the double point, I am not sure if the team is too busy working on something, perhaps updating the site.

Hope the site will be back soon or the team will give us an update too.

I have not been active for the last two months because I was busy taking care of my newborn baby and trying to catch some sleep as much as I can too. I still came online whenever I nursed or carried my baby, it only left me one hand free, so I usually chose to visit those sites that I do not need to type too much. I did visit LB once in a while, just read the forums but not replied.

I am happy for the site and everyone that LB has been paying, and there are still active members and topics around, I will surely spend more time here, as my baby can sleep well for longer and I am not as tired as before too. Though I also need to spend time on others tasks, I am happy to be here because of the friendly community.

I am thinking people are not active here may because they are busy with their own life, or because there is a new blogging site launching. 🙂

@kaylar I got paid many times from Bubblews too. It’s just that during the final phase, as there were too many spammers and Bubblews decided not to pay for the activities for certain period, I just lost my payment from that period, and still got paid for the rest. Even I got some missing payments, Bubblews paid me too.

By the way, I am from Malaysia, so Bubblews did not only pay to those are in US.
