@grecy095 Thanks for the wishes! Good that you have met your quota again, perhaps you can reach your goal before you start working on Monday?

I am sorry for your loss. It’s really sad to lose a friend. I am sure it take some time for the friends and family to heal.

My good news for today:
1. Though I have bad stomachache since last night, I am glad my baby is totally fine. I must have eaten something wrong, hope I will be fine tomorrow.

2. I went for pregnancy checkup today, and everything is fine too. Both baby and I are healthy, and now we just wait for him to join us soon. We have scheduled a c-section operation with the doctor, it’s on 26 May. 12 more days to go. πŸ™‚

3. I couldn’t really sleep well last night due to stomach pain, glad that I managed to catch 4 hour afternoon nap after coming back from the pregnancy checkup.

Nothing much for today, as my whole day was about stomach pain + pregnancy checkup + sleep. πŸ˜€

4. The post I submitted yesterday is published, and I am happy to see more members are awarded by the site! The site seems to give us more and more surprises!

Hope everyone has a good weekend! πŸ™‚

Congratulations to everyone who received the awards! Even for those who haven’t receive the awards, it’s fine too, as this already shows that the team will reward us for contributing to the site, so just keep on contributing, and I am sure we will be rewarded. πŸ™‚

@dawnwriter I think this site is still new, and needs us to support and help to expand it. It always takes time for a company to set up, grow and be stable as well. Isn’t it nice to be one of the first few members to help growing the site?
I do hope this site will grow and sustain for long run too.

@swalia I agree with you. I also think about that too. I mean it’s good if the site opens for more registrations, and it will help to generate more ad revenues, but the site has to be ready to do so. I agree with starting and expanding slowly according to the capability of the company.

@ruby3881 Congratulations on receiving your bonus too. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is, I just think it’s a good encouragement for all the members, and it also shows that the team is watching us! πŸ˜€

I would not like to get too much into the specifics of earnings too, but I just think this might encourage others to attempt to write lengthy posts, so they might earn better. There are ways for us to earn better here.
Thanks for verifying that. πŸ™‚

@lolaze Hi Lola, welcome to the site. Hope you will enjoy spending your time here. πŸ™‚
Yes, I am happy the team recognize our hardwork and appreciate it too.

@swalia Thank you for sharing those good tips! As a blogger, I agree that it’s really encouraging if we get more traffics, and especially more comments to our blog too. I usually comment on other blogs, and just started to share my posts on social media sites.

I have also read that it’s good to publish a post consistently, say every Tuesday, or two times a week. So when the readers are interested in our blog, and know our schedule well, they might just return to our blog consistently too. Otherwise, they might not be able to know when to visit us and they might forget to visit us too.

@ruby3881 That’s a really good idea. I think it’s always good to have a schedule, whether for blogging or social media sharing. Are you using Buffer to schedule the social media sharing now? I have not heard about HootSuite, will check it out soon.

@morgoodie I do not share on Facebook, though I heard some might get good traffics from there. Same as you, I do not think my friends in Facebook are interested in writing, moreover, most of them are Chinese educated, and they prefer to read Chinese. Moreover, I would like to separate my personal FB account from my online work.
Anyway, I am trying to set up the other social media sites, slowly. πŸ˜€

I do not hate or dislike my parents as well, in fact, I really love them and think I am very blessed to have parents like them. I do not blame them, though we might have different thoughts in parenting. They didn’t learn how to be parents, and back in those days, they were busy to earn money and also trying hard to raise us. It’s not easy in those old days. They were learning on their parenting journey, and so do we. It’s just that we are really lucky to have so many resources nowadays, and they didn’t have. Moreover, they have taught us the good values we should have, and I really appreciate that. Most of all, they really love us very much.

Now that they are grandparents now, and I can see they are still learning too. TheyΒ  understand us better, and understand why we parent our children this way, and also understand this is the new world and it’s good that we parent our children differently.

@peachpurple Yes, it’s always nice to see some extra income in our earnings from referring visitors. I think it would be better if we can expose our blog posts to more people and gain more comments too. Perhaps it will take some time to establish that. I am thinking if we keep on sharing the posts here, they will get ranked higher in search engine, and in return the posts will be exposed to more people.

I agree with you. It’s not only nice to interact with others, but we have learned some good knowledge on certain topics from the forums as well. That’s why I like staying here.

@4cryingoutloud Congratulations on reaching the first $1. Keep going, and I am sure we will get more. πŸ™‚

@icybc I understand that. We all have other work to do and our priority list too. I am just trying it out, and hope we will all get paid soon. πŸ™‚

May 14, 2016 at 4:17 am

@morgoodie That’s good. I have also just added ForumCoin to my list. Hope it will help me to gain some referrals. It’s so nice of CyberFreaks, I wish I do not have a neobux account. πŸ˜€

Yes, I think a little bit counts. Moreover, it’s really simple task as we can click on it while doing other things as well. Sometimes, it’s easy to earn $5 or even $10 a month there. Moreover, I like the new weekly bonus prize they are giving away. If we are active, we might be able to collect those gems in the week, and earn the extra credits. There were two times, we could earn $1.

@grecy095 I just can’t imagine how you could review call and blog at the same time. I always thought I am good at multitasking, and you are really superb! So, you are totally not a failure in doing multitasking. Please do not be too harsh to yourself. Love yourself! πŸ™‚

Though I do multi task, I actually still do one thing at a time, or it depends what the task is. I can watch movie and click on ads at the same time, as I switch my focus here and there, but when I write or watch webinars, I need to be focus, as I need to think clearly.

@morgoodie I always think I am not disciplined. I should spend more time on my freelance project, but instead I am spending time on the online sites. πŸ˜€
But, I like to write down what I want to do for the day, and try to make them. If I don’t, it’s okay, I’ll park them to tomorrow. πŸ˜€

@icybc I do that as well, that’s why I am always coming in and out from my study all day long, and that gives me break from my computer as well. Will the tendonitis be able to cure totally? Hope it’ll be fine soon.

@grecy095 I am sure your friends would love it when you help them braiding their hair.

Pinterest is really a good place to find lots of handwork information. The more I browse the pin boards, the more types of handwork I found, and I am really interested to learn them all, but of course I can’t make it now. But I will follow what @morgoodie suggested, write a to-learn list. πŸ˜€

May 13, 2016 at 11:41 pm

@morgoodie This is one of the reasons I like BlogJob and now LB, we do not only earn money by blogging and interacting, but also learn some social media marketing skills, and of course the friendly and helpful community here. I guess when we just started something new, we need to be patient to sow the seed and wait for it to reap.

Yes, I agree that children grow up really fast, and hence we really have to seize the time being with them. I am really grateful to be a stay at home mom, so I can spend more time with my children. I will surely come online whenever possible. πŸ˜€

@4cryingoutloud Congratulations on your award too! It’s so happy to hear that so many members are awarded and encouraged too.

@dawnwriter Yes, I think these awards certainly encourage us to participate more in forums and also write more blogs. πŸ™‚
Thanks for the wishes. I am sure there will be more members joining the site, and the forums will be active too.

@sunil Congratulations on the award of quality blogs. You definitely deserve it as you have been writing so many good blog posts!

My dad never spank me, but my mom did beat us with something, and I don’t even remember what that was, but I remember it was not a cane, not a stick, as she didn’t really mean to hurt us or make us painful. But, the problem is I don’t even remember why she beat me. So, did spanking or beating really discipline the child? I really doubt so.

Some might said the kids will remember the pain and remember the lesson as well, but most of the time, I guess kids will only remember they are being beaten, but might not know why and not even remember what they should do.

I remember my mom used to force me to finish the food I was eating, I understood it’s not good to waste food, but sometimes I really couldn’t finish. There was once, I finished the food and vomited quite badly. Then my mom realized that I didn’t purposely disobey her, I really could not do it. So I always think when a child “disobey” us, there must be an underlying reason for us to find out, but not just punish them without understanding them.

May 13, 2016 at 6:57 pm

@peachpurple Congratulations! I am really happy to know that. Yes, it’s a good sign that the team is with us here and they appreciate our hard work too.

I would like to spend more time on those groups as well and the blog posts too, but it seems like time is not enough for us to do so much. I am trying to work on these as much as I can too. I didn’t work much today, as I was sleepy and slept for long hours, and I went out for lunch too. It’s already night time here, so I guess I can just start working hard tomorrow. πŸ™‚

Hope more surprises for us, and encouragement to all the members too!

I am thinking if we can suggest this feature to be added to our forum comment and also blog post. It would be so much helpful when we can just type our comment or post while knowing how many words we have written, so we do not need to use any other program, then copy and paste. I hope this is not too difficult to implement, as I think WordPress has this feature built in.

@support Do you think this is feasible?

May 13, 2016 at 6:10 pm

@swalia Thank you for explaining that to us. I always thought it’s a whole word, but didn’t really go and find out more about it. There’s a term in Malay language which is the same spelling, guru means teacher. So, I thought they might be the same.

So is the Guru you mentioned your Deeksha Guru?

I am really new in this spiritual journey. I started to be inspired to learn more about this because of Rudolf Steiner, and I learned that because of the education I would like to learn and teach my children, so I am totally new here. I am only learning from books or online resources, but not really following any teachers or Guru.

@dawnwriter Thanks for the compliment! I am happy the team recognize and appreciate our hard work.

@peachpurple I was feeling really uncomfortable during my first trimester, and I have been really lazy for the first four months. I felt better after that, and I started to gain back my energy and stamina too. Being productive makes me feel good actually, though I would like to be lazy once in a while.

My guessing for the pay rate is:
Less than 300 words – 2 cents
300 to 500 words – 5 cents
500 to perhaps 800 words – 10 cents
800 to 1000 words – 12 cents

I am not very sure about this, if I am not mistaken, @grecy095 earned 12 cents for a post more than 800 words.
I have no idea how much we will earn for post more than 1000 words. I should have tried that in my first post, as I have written 924 words. πŸ˜€

@swalia Thanks. Yes, that’s why I share this with others, hope to encourage others to participate more. πŸ™‚

@grecy095 I am not sure if I will still be active after my baby is born. Actually I am taking advantage of this period to work on the online sites, my freelance project and also be lazy. I will have to spend more time on my children, I need to learn how to take care of 3 soon. πŸ˜€

Congratulations on being awarded too! I think you are very active and contribute a lot to the site and to us. I really appreciate your kindness all the time.

@sunil Thanks. I haven’t check out my blog yet, good to know the team is reading our posts as well. πŸ˜€
