My boyfriend keeps telling me that I exaggerate because at least with my mother I speak every day. He also tells me that I’m acting like a child even if I’m almost 30 years old. But I can’t help it since we’re apart and I miss her. This is why I love hearing her voice

I  don’t understand where did this trend come from. What’s wrong with the parents that put bracelets on a child that is only a few months old? I mean let’s face it it’ s not like the child is going to somehow appreciate that gift

alina wrote a new post, Why do you accept being his mistress? 8 years, 2 months ago

I never understood why some women accept being put on the second plan in the life of a man.

ok let’s face it both men and women cheat. who does it more it doesn’t even matter. but being cheated is one […]

    • Maybe its the love, and because love is blinded they were blinded. What important to them is their feelings. They love too much and so they live with it. As the song goes says, too much love will kill you, so they live with.

    • OK. The wife gets “first fruits” from her husband’s leavings. The mistress gets his “leftovers”. Both women can be content with that. Love? Yeah … eh! Maybe! But it’s probably something that’s not so sentimental or intimate. It’s likely something much more practical. Their needs are being met. Which needs? Sexual needs? Duh! Who cares about that? A roof over her head, clothes on her back, food in her mouth and if there are kids involved they get taken care of too.

Now for some women, they would much rather be independent and know that they have the means to take care of themselves. But for other women … it’s sort of a “way to make a living”. So what if society frowns upon them for their “arrangement”. So what if other women think they’re nuts for allowing it. So what if it’s immoral. So what! In their minds, they have resolved and accepted their life as it is. In other words, ‘You take care of yourself, your way and handle your future. I’ll take of myself, my way, and handle my future!’

For me personally? That kind of arrangement is intolerable. I don’t need to live somebody and be miserable. I can be miserable all by myself! I’d rather be single and free, and die alone and childless, than to put up with that kind of relationship! 🙁

    • In Jamaica you will find women who go after married men. They do it so as to get the benefits and none of the detriments. The guy gets her an apartment, a car, and can only come on certain times, and she’s free. She doesn’t wash for him, she takes what he gives her and knows how to get more.

      • Those benefits last as long as the man lives. In America, the beneficiary of the husband’s estate is usually the wife. Even further, it’s usually the first wife. So unless that man has a really good lawyer who expertly knows how to craft a will, the mistresses and any wife after wife number one get screwed!! (Screwed? Excuse the pun.) That’s why the movie “First Wives Club” was so popular. That’s also why prenuptial agreements are very popular. The property gets divided before the couple is even united. Turns marriage into strictly a business arrangement, if you ask me. If you love each other, that’s just extra “gravy”. 🙂

    • For me, never did i imagine in my wildest dream to be a mistressed of someone else which i think is very abomination in the eyes of God. Let’s face it, many people nowadays don’t have moral values which lead them to ruin their life. They have their own rules to follow that’s why they doesn’t even care about other people’s feelings for they were blinded with their own will and selfishness to wrecked a family. I believe, you should stand for with your own principles to steadfast in any illogical relationship that will come your way and avoid temptation by means of praying and a life united to God.

    • Let’s be honest here we are all to blame for this mass. It’s not really about women wanting to be mistresses many are the times you will find men trying to hit on unsuspecting women. And they will do this knowingly, they will remove their rings from their fingers and act like that are single, then what happens? If course the last will fall right into his trap and start going out with him. Are we now going to say that she got into that relationship willingly? No because she probably asked the man if he was married and his answer was no am not married I do r even have a ring in my finger? When it comes to that man can really defend themselves. But there is a batch of women who just enjoy being with married man regardless of whether they are married or not. Is this a wonder? If course not, they get into this relationships for solely one reason financial stability nothing else. There is never love in this kinds of relationships because they are merely based on material gains. It’s unfortunate that this things happen but people need to realize that love is a serious thing and it involves hearts and hearts that can be broken so be cautious in how you feel with it.

    • I have seen with my spiritual eye that true is rare on earth as Romeo and Juliet love, free of any greed just spiritual love and full of pleasure.

I see today’s love full of greed, you with me agree, or nor agree, as you like but no body denies fact. Modern love is full of greed of money and every girl is going after the rich man on earth and we may call it Going after Money Race.

We all are born to die I say, we must love men and women with whole hearts, daily bread and butter God will us. Do not worry about your bread it is God’s responsibility.

Learn on earth to love men and women to change hellish earth into paradise. We must follow the religion of humanity, not the religion of money and wealth.

alina wrote a new post, Should A Man Give Up On His Seat In The Public Transportation? 8 years, 2 months ago

I’m curious what do you think: is it normal for a man to give up on his seat in the bus to a woman?

Most of the people consider this a gentleman’s behavior. but lately it seems like most of the gentlemen are […]

    • yes all men should do so but only gentlemen are honorable to offer their seats for pregnant women.

You can see gentlemen or not when you are in public buses / train.
I see that students are well behaved then adults.
The adults pretend to be sleeping, writing, reading or talking on the phone.

      • you can see gulity looks on men’s faces in such situations. they behave like kids that did something bad

    • I think it a serious matter either seat should be left alone for woman or not but I think man must not should left the seat because it is women’s duty why they travel in such public transports that have no seats for women.

Buses must be separate for women so that with women no one could make any uncivilized trick sitting in the bus. I think women must not travel in those buses that have no seats for women.

But this is really nothing new. A number of countries around the world already have women-only transport.
Here’s everything you need to know about how segregated travel is going for them:

India has introduced a number of women-only trains in Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta and Chennai. The brightly-coloured coaches were widely seen as a big hit. When the trains stop, male inspectors guide men away from the carriage doors. If any don’t comply, they’re forced to pay a fine and can be taken to a police station.

In 2010, a group of angry women took matters into their own hands and forced men using the carriages to do sit-ups as punishment.

The Tehran metro subway reserves the last few carriages for women and has done for years. It has become an accepted part of the culture and is spreading to other forms of transport.

    • Talk about the 20th century generation. Day by day going children are loosing morals over what they say it’s the 20th century. I get so perturbed by the behavior I see kids portraying in the name of being independent. There is no respect whatsoever for their elders that just do what they feel is right for them and this is very unfortunate. I thank God that where I come from there is a law that was published that all public vehicles should not have anyone standing up. Everyone who boards a vehicle should have a seat and not stand. That really saved a lot of women because they are the ones who used to suffer in this vehicles. You would find a woman with kids standing up, the bus is fully parked, and there is no one who is even willing to hold their kids for them it was a pathetic situation but that is no more. That does not mean that the youths have changed their behaviours, they still act like they are the ones who run the world and that should not be it, kids should be taught that at all times they are to respect their elders wherever they go or whatever they do. So finally to answer your question yes it is right for a man to go a a woman a seat that is being a gentleman. Even though nowadays men just don’t act he way they should

alina wrote a new post, is it ok to travel alone? 8 years, 2 months ago

I love to travel and visit new places. I would spend all my money on such things since for now I don’t have a family that would hold me back. But ever since I discovered this passion of mine I’ve been having one […]

    • I admire people who do this. hope one day I will have the courage to travel on my own too

    • I haven’t traveled all that much even with others. So I would be intimidated to do so alone, especially in a foreign country. I admire those adventurous souls who can!

      • it’s the same thing with me. I love to travel but the fact is that I’m sick with ruining my vacation due to the fact that the people I travel with complain about this and that

    • For me, your journey will be enjoyable if you have your own travel buddy than travelling alone by yourself most especially in a foreign country. That’s so scary! Imagine you will go out from your comfort zone and going to a foreign land which is very unknown to you? You don’t know the people and the things which store for you there. What if someone kill you! You can never escape and ask for help. We will never know! You have to be vigilant everytime. But if you’re have lots of guts and motivation travelling alone, you can do it as a part of your own journey! All you have to do is pray that God will guide you and protect you from any unexpected morbid things that will happened as you ahead in your self discovery and adventures.

      • this is exactly what I’m scared of. ok the fact is that I would literally be alone because I would travel with a travel agency so i would be included in a group of people

    • If travelling in foreign countries particularly in the famous destination, you can do it but of course it would always be better if you have company. But when traveling in mountainous areas or going to hiking or unexplored paces, it is a must.

      • I’m not too much of a fan of the mountain. if I would travel i would do it to the countries that have a different culture than my own. I’m fascinated of arabic countries

    • Base on my experience, I prefer to travel with someone like a friend or relative. It is because when I first traveled alone to North China to teach there, I felt so afraid because I was told that Chang Chun China is near Xiamen only to learn that it cost 6 hours to reach there. there were many places I traveled alone like Seoul, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, twice, China thrice, Australia and New Zealand 6 times.I envied those who traveled with someone.

      • it’s ok to travel with someone if you have the right companion but if that person doesn’t share your tastes it’s not going to be a pleasant experience

    • I am on my way to a trip to Hangzhou China and I’m going by myself. I’ve traveled by myself before, twice actually. The two times before, I went on a trip to Jamaica to visit family but this upcoming trip is something that I have never done before. Not sure how I feel about it now but I was hoping to get one other person to come with me but I guess that is not the case since everyone either doesn’t have the money or cant do it before they are afraid of the language barrier. I think its all up to you how you want to travel, best bet is just to be careful doing it. 🙂

      • that’s so cool. please let me know how it went. I admire your courage and hope that one day I will get to that point too

    • I think it depends on where you’re going? But it could be best if you brought someone along, like a travelling buddy. After all, a lone thief would think twice before mugging a group of people or a pair of travelers even if they were both females.

    • First you need to overcome your fears by travelling to a foreign country alone and explore only then will you be able to be free with yourself. Travelling alone is a good thing but again it depends what are you going for is it for adventure or work or just for some quiet time. You have to consider all this things before you take one journey.for adventure I would recommend you take someone fun to go with and that will definitely cost you because you don’t expect someone to accompany you one journey that you proposed. But if it’s work related this one you can do it alone while you enjoy the benefits that come with it. This is the best because you will definitely have a guide who will take you around and at some point you may just decide to do it all alone at some point and that will be a wonderful thing. So take a journey on your own to a foreign place and walk around do stuff on your own discover new things and your fears will disappear good luck

    • Travelling is always a good and nice experience. We call such lonely travelers as ‘Indie Traveler’ in Tourism.

If you want to know about people you should travel and if you want to know about yourself you should travel alone.

There are many places and countries in the world. Everyone will have the desire to visit and see as many places as one can in life. But there are only some who can make it a success.

Some people do have money but they can not do it for fear of their own personality.

There are many who do not have money but have a good personality to move freely with others and go ahead with the chosen destination fearless.

It is for the latter there are many websites that have come into existence. They encourage these travelers to take up tours as per the instructions stipulated by them and send the details of the journey along with recordings. They will pay for the entire tour. There are many people who are taking up such tours. There are even young ladies who are taking up such tours and finishing even the world tour also. One should read their articles and their experience and advises and have a clear plan about the places of visit. It is always good to have a collection of all the articles of such travelers.

As far as my personal experience is concerned I had one such a lady from Indonesia. It was really unexpected that she had seen my article on SABARIMALA TOUR. She contacted me via my email. We exchanged views on many things and about many places.

One fine morning I replied to her email in BAHASA . The reply came immediately. She was immensely pleased. Our friendship continued. One fine day she came to CHENNAI as per her schedule tour. I received her going all the way from Hyderabad. We felt very happy. She trusted me. She trusted my friendship. She spent 12 days in India. She visited BALAJI TEMPLE in Tirumala also. She also accompanied me to see Sabarimala. She could come up to NEMELIKAL. From there the ladies are not allowed. She stayed in a nearby lodge and waited for my return. She knew about many things and noted everything in her Diary. We spend time very nicely.

What I want to say is to have some trust. Choose the best of your friends for a tour if your are a lady and want to travel alone.

There are certain countries in the world where a lady can not and should not travel alone.

    • Traveling is a good fun always but traveling alone in my openion is not good.I think traveling with friends is a much better.because if we travel friends we can have wounderful time togather.I alwasy travel around when i am free but i always have someone with me.

    • Travelling to me is very good. It gives me chances to stay in a car and look out to views of many structures on the road for long period of time. When I was in secondary school I would want my school to close as soon as possible to enable me travel a long journey back home. But most time it pisses me off especially when am travelling alone.
Most time when I enter a car for a long journey, I like to talk to my next neighbour so as to cure boredom thereby reducing my chances of sleeping.
I really don’t like travelling alone but I always travel alone. That makes me always talk to my next neighbor. I always generate discussions with them and I make sure this topics goes for about 4 hours thereby covering my journey hours. The only chance I have never had is travelling by plane but I hope one day I will travel by plane and also by ship.
When i stay in a car during a journey and my next neighbor doesn’t look like a talking type, I will sleep throughout the journey and will never know what happened all throughout the journey therefore not enjoying the journey. But I like your post, maybe I will give travelling with a friend a chance even if my parents doesn’t accept it.

    • i love to travel with my loved once and i love traveling with my family.Because its so much of fun when you are traveling with family or friends. You enjoy very moment of your traveling.I mostly travel with friends around .

    • Yes, travelling alone is dangerous because if you fall ill who take care of you the first and foremost problem of travelling alone. According to human nature man needs man to talk or exchange ides a lone person cannot do this. Travelling alone in foreign countries is full of dangers that everything will be unknown to you the peoples and places, things and hotels…but therefore it is must for the travelers to take one fellow traveler with him to pass time and exchange views on different natural beauties and scenes.

    • Itre replied 8 years ago

I haven’t travelled alone yet but lately been thinking about it. I really want to so see tehe world wonders but don’t really have anybody who is interested. So I decided that next year i’m travelling alone to Peru. To be honest still a bit afraid of travelling alone and hope it is not lonely. But on the other hand quite excisted for the adventure. Also i’m a guy so i’ll have less problems with horny/touchy people.

    • Travel alone is not a problem for everyone if someone is health and active, mentally spiritually and physically. I think none is alone on earth because in everyone’s mind there are memorable memories that keep the travelers fresh while travelling.

If you are sad you cannot enjoy raveling alone or with friends. Traveling rests om happy mood neither on loneliness nor on friends. I always travel alone when I am happy sometimes to see my friend in fa off city or within city and enjoy traveling.

    • Traveling alone may be hazardous or dangerous especially for a woman. Her life would be in peril if she goes to a place where notorious people are so many. Or to a place where a woman who is unescorted or no companion to travel alone would be likely victimized by a swindler, by a criminal or whatever.

I think it is better to go with the group just a sponsored travel which is participated in by many people who are too curious to visit a place as a tourist. Besides it is safer, it is also very economical. Anyway in case, she would be lost and she managed herself to travel alone until it gets into the embassy of her country, she would bring along with her map, communication gadget like the cell phone, and everything to make herself secure. It is very difficult to defend yourself in case you might be passing a checkpoint and worse if you don’t know their language. You are just like traveling on a totally unknown place.

alina wrote a new post, Reasons why you should give up on certain people 8 years, 2 months ago

I’ve always had a hard time giving up on people. what do I mean by that?

I’m almost 28 and I must say I was almost never capable of ending a relationship that was toxic. Why? because I feared loneliness more […]

    • I have always enjoyed my own company. I can be alone all day and not notice it. I have friends that can’t go to the supermarket by themselves. They fear being alone. They get into totally toxic relationships.

You are born alone. YOu have the capacity to be alone. Don’t destroy yourself with a false ‘need’.

      • I don’t have a problem in being alone for one day either. I tought about going alone on a trip to morroco but I didn’t have the courage

    • I’ve been like this before with toxic relationships. I’m way too forgiving and will give people too many chances. I’m just too nice. It’s gotten me hurt many times and you’d think I’d learn but I don’t. Recently it got me hurt a lot as I had a professional treat me horribly and unprofessionally and I gave them as second chance – only to have them put me through more unprofessional and inappropriate behavior! I’m working on having better boundaries and not letting people take advantage of me. It’s hard but it’s something each of us has to learn so we don’t get hurt all the time.

      • I have the same problem as you. I guess my parents taught me to be to respectful or else I don’t explain myself what stops me from telling people what they would deserve for their behavior. Anyway let’s just hope that not all people are the same: using others for their best interest

    • Always remember that the constant thing in this world is change. People change everyone does with regards in relationship, career, status, individuality, personality and that’s an obvious fact. We cannot do anything about it but to accept changes in our life. We should be vigilant in trusting people to whom we gave our trust. Sometimes we felt betrayed by those people hurting us without knowing it. Life is though and most often people are mean and uncaring.

      • is it’s true. the sad fact is that now always people invest the same amount of emotions in a relationship friendly or romantic and this is why such situations occur

    • Nope! You should have no give up to anything. I just posted a Blog post and it is the answer for all of your problems! It is still on pending status so I will leave a link here sooner once it got approved.

Cheers! I am newbie and my name is Kent David Adran

      • I realize that it’s just a blog post and not the key to all of my problems. anyway an advice is always welcomed

    • it’s great that you were able to hold on to your decision. I guess I will have to consider your advice. I have no alternative since this situation only brings me sadness and I know I deserve better than this

    • First let me say this and this is my opinion, people who like to be alone usually are people who are trying to hide something so that they are not found out. But anyway there are times when we would like to just have some me time which is okay but when it’s okay for you to stay away from everybody else then that’s a problem. Here’s the thing letting go is one of the hardest things to deal with but it can be done. It has to be something that you are willing to face and undergo. If you do not have the heart or the willingness to move on then you cannot let go. You have to sit down and look at the situation in all ways before making a decision, because this is what will make or break you. Like you I have also been in the same place where i had to let go it actually took me a good 2 years to finally do it and it took a lot of courage. I looked at my situation then and saw that am the one who was actually putting in a lot of effort to hold the relationship, we never seemed to agree on small issues and I thought am I really doing myself a favor by being in this relationship? Am I gaining or loosing out and that’s when I decided to go out and never looked back.

alina wrote a new post, Using animals in circus should be punished by law 8 years, 2 months ago

I wish there was something I could do about this. I admit it that when I was little I liked to go to the circus to look at tigers and lions. But little did I knew back then about the sufference and pain these […]

    • That is animal cruelty. Why should they use animals in their showdown or in monkey business? People also applauded those abusers. I hate to see human being abusing some animals, butchering without a reason, eating them too and selling some.Pigs okay to be butchered, but it could also be pig cruelty if punish the animal just to gain viewers. Our laws on land have lots of biases.

      • yes indeed I consider it animal cruelty too. it’s sad that parents take the kids to see such shows. I promised myself I would never do this to my child

    • The people are entertained in this kind animal exhibition in the circus. Whatever it is, it is the exploitation of the animals for the benefit of the human interest especially in making money.

The different countries have their own laws that govern this mode of cruelty, exploitation of the animals for the circus, for the business purposes. Those people involved should know the law concerning the welfare of the animals. Animals have the right to live, have the right to protected, have the right to a proper treatment as the human.

Look at the selected countries on how they treat and protect the animals through legislation.

In India, they have the prevention of cruelty to animals act, 1960 and it is amended by Central Act 26 of 1982. There is a restriction on exhibition and training of performing animals. Unless the person is registered, he couldn’t let his animals performing any act or have it displayed in public for a fee.

In the Philippines, there is Republic Act No. 10631. It is the animal welfare act of 1998. It provides there that any person who treats any animal cruelly, maltreated or neglected has to suffer the punishment imposed by the said law if found guilty. He would be imprisoned and be fined according to the provision of the law.

In Australia, they have the animal welfare act 1992. It governs the use of animals in the circus. It says that a person is charged by the court if he holds a circus. He uses animals and he has no permit to hold the circus.

      • your post is very interesting and informative. I wish there was a law in my country too that would forbid people to use animals by forcing them to do tricks for the entertainment of people
