That was what I am sorry for. I was so thin when not yet married, but after giving birth I gained weight so fast though I was so busy with an office job that time. Now I am overweight, trying to lose some weight. It’s good we decided to go on strict diet and daily exercise of walking and biking every morning. Plus moving a lot while inside the house or walking inside malls (ha ha ha!).

@ Dina
You are lucky that you have inherited your mom’s genes and that of our grandma’s Chinese lineage, that is why you look younger than your actual age.
You are also always smiling and that you have a positive outlook in life.
-
@Ruby ,
Thank you for saying that. I think it’s Ruben and Rose who also inherited that in your family.
But you are correct, I smile and laugh a lot. Simple jokes can already make me laugh out loud already. I also have a positive attitude. I always think that if we are having a problem, we just have to do what we can to solve it. When it cannot be solved, give it to God and just hope it will soon be solved.
Positivism is also helping me really to look and feel young.
Though, you still look young for your age too, Ate Rubs. And so with Ate Ruth. I guess we in our clan have that gene.
-
As what they also say, “it runs in the family:
You just don’t laugh, you laugh with your eyes and i think that is one of your asset.
Any problems you have in life, it does not show. You carry yourself well!
-
-
-
you are good in that post that how women feel but we all have different bodies, and i saw many women that looks really much younger than her real age, i guess this people who smile alot and live the life as it is and take good note of their life experiences as that affect how you look, how you feel, thanks for bringing this issue to us before its late
-
@dealio ,
Our positive outlook in life, reflects in our face, thus we look & feel younger. Smiling a lot, laughing and joking are helping us to feel young too.
As to stress, that is inevitable. It comes to each and everyone. We just have to have a good way of dealing with problems so we will not be stressed much.
Do what we can do to solve a problem. But when you cannot you ask from people you are close with. In addition, ask for the help of God. He too, is always just waiting for us to call on him for help.
Though, eating healthily and exercising are the primary things that really helps in us to look and feel young at our ages. 🙂

I agree, we must avoid eating comfort foods especially junk foods that are not healthy. Many people especially young people resort to eating comfort foods instead of healthy foods because they are always in a hurry, and because of peer influence.
-
Nice article! Thank you for the tips which I hope I could follow to the T.
You are right, almost everyone of us have their own comfort food.
For me, my comfort food are peanuts, saba banana (whether boiled, ‘turon’ or with sugar coating, corn, and anything sweet. Maybe this is the reason why I have high blood sugar hahaha.
Food that is also cooked with coconut milk, which we Bicolanos are famous for, is also a comfort food for me
I don’t go so much for spicy foods, which is the norm for the youth of today.
May I also add, there was a study that it is much better if we drink 2 glasses of water before having your breakfast, 1 glass before we take a bath, 1 glass each every meal (that’s 3 glasses), and 2 glasses before you go to sleep, for a total of 8 glasses a day.
-
If comfort eating is a habit that you frequently fall back on to try to make yourself feel better, it can be hard to know how to break the cycle.
However, it is possible to stop it.Sometimes, you may think that you’re hungry but this may not actually be the case. Before you head for the fridge or cupboard, ask yourself whether you’re genuinely hungry or not. If your stomach isn’t actually rumbling, you may not really be hungry. If you suspect that you’re bored rather than hungry, distract yourself and see if you’re still hungry afterwards.

Hahahahaha, there are many scammers that enter here all we have to do is never to entertain them. There was one here a scammer, we all laughed at her message full of kisses to our lips hahahaha. There are so any of them like here this time. The only site they cannot enter to dos scamming is Facebook. It is so huge worldwide site and whoever is sending malicious message is blocked hehehe. Just do not ignore that kind of message my friend. It is also the same in Mylot many entries of scammers but each one is helping the culprit removed. Be thankful you are bright to monitor right away. When she message you in YM click spam so she could, not anymore bother you. That person is a male, not female.
-
Yes, I told him he’s a scammer and I won’t entertain him. It was just because he came from Literacybase, and I thought scammers would be blocked here. Good thing I searched for the data he gave and I found that scam alert site.
-
-
Wow! I think I can send you my email spam folder and you will have enough to blog about to get rich here! Have you heard from the Nigerian Royal Family yet?
-
No. At least they won’t try. I just answered because she/he was from Literacybase and I thought she/he is a good member here. I don’t have any idea h/she was a scammer. I didn’t give my real name and other data.
-
-
It’s just I was too trusting that time, then I remember all those scams on the net; so I checked the data he gave me, and I found that scam site alert.
-
I received a lot of emails from 10 years that I am working online. The bait is they will be sending money and they need your help. If you are easy to believe, you will give your account number. I even remember a friend who followed instruction from this phishing emails and she send $100 dollars to that person in order to process 14 million dollars. After giving the money, she have not heard from that person only to find out it is scam.
It pays to search first before believing. How can a person send you that big amount of money when you are both strangers. Thanks for sharing this one.
-
Yes, it’s good I immediately searched on the data he/she sent; then I immediately know it’s a scam! How can somebody just trust you and give you a share of her wealth? Too good to be true!
I was so sad she was on Literacybase. She messaged me here so I thought she’s also a writer/blogger. I didn’t give any info. about me.
-
-
there so many scam out there and some are even bring the old school
snail mail scan back-
So they are trying every means to scam people?even using the snail mail? that’s funny!
-
-
Lucky that you were so astute with this type of situations.
There are a lot of easy-to-get scheme at the internet.
There is a situation here in the Phils where their FB account has been hacked and they will message friends and will request you to go on a videocall. Many has been duped.
I, myself, have been nearly duped.
-
That’s one of the negative aspects of social media sites like FB. People who post a lot of photos there could be a target of scammers; they can rob their identity and use it in scamming people.
-
-
In my opinion, that person registered here as a member that’s why she was able to send you a message. Oh my, I hope support can eliminate scammers like her here.
I don’t entertain those who asks for my email. Because in our office e-mail , somebody emailed me something like yours and she also said that the rich widow to which she is a caregiver, is looking for a beneficiary of her wealth. Since she was childless and doesn’t like her greedy relatives she’s looking for a beneficiary. It’s complete with picture of the supposedly caregiver and the dying widow.
I didn’t reply but she again emailed me and now the widow is dead and so she the caregiver was tasked to ask for my account number , full name etc. so the inheritance can be sent. Blah!
I deleted that email and marked it as spam.
-
That’s a clear scam! How can some stranger give you money? I searched for her name here, and she was no longer here. The name was also fictitious, it was a case of stolen identity of Natalya Delieva, a Russian whom the suspect claimed it was she. It was found out that the photo of Delieva was taken from a social media site and used by the suspect to scam people.
-
-
Yeah its better and advisable to avoid such emails and messages as they can attack our privacy.
-
hi there and good morning literacy base members, there are scammers here and scammers in there and in real life also you see scammers, why i dont know, they are there and we are living with them all the time some we learned they are scammers and soem are hidden and wednt know their real intentions to be scammers, only solutions to deal with such people is to stay eyes open and not to rust any body, which makes little tenssion in life but that is life now and we have agree
-
Yes, it is true that there are many scammers online and in the real world, so everyone must always be alert; think first before making decisions.
-
I agree these people are every where that they become normal in our life, and we all should be alert from all the people the one that smile more
-
-
Yeah even I had received an email which looked as same as Literacy Base format. It was stating that my surname matches with one of his clients who is no more in this world and has left behind a property of 4 Million, and that he was searching for any of his relatives to claim it. He stated that he saw my Surname on Literacy Base and decided to contact me and was asking about my personal details so that he could consider me as one of his Late Clients and I would be eligible for the 4 Million. Now that was straight away meaningless interaction that he was making because there would be hundreds of who have the same surname and just because I am one with the same I would get the money.
-
It is too good to be true, Nitin. They think they can fool a lot of people. How in the world would he share a part of $4 million just because you have the same surname? ha ha haha!
-
-
I get these messages All the Time. I never answer. Never email. Unless I’m in a bad mood. Then I use what we call in Jamaica, ‘our foreign language’ (words not suitable for print)
-
That’s a nice way of bluffing or stopping them! I am curious about that “term” in Jamaica? I guess we could not print it here, google will be angry! ha ha ha!
-
It is our use of obscenities. They probably wouldn’t sound so obscene in English esp. if they were written in Patwa. However, when I respond to a spammer I try to be as ‘clear’ as possible and call them by the worst possible names.
-
-
-
Yes, better stop them. I directly told him/her to stop scamming me or else his IP address will be traced by the Interpol.
-
The red flag was up at, “Don’t tell anyone”.
-
That’s good, there’s already a red flag for itt. But you know when somebody here at Literacybase tells”Don’t tell anyone,or this is a secret,”it becomes intriguing and it will create more curiosity on why he said it, so it is the tendency for a member to find out. Like me,I thought he would say something about Literacybase.
-
-
Scammers are everywhere so we all must beware their are some who send me a message to my inbox but i never entertained them. For me, they are virtual stranger trying to get insidey world. I have build a protective barrier against them not even allowing any single to come in. 😉
-
Scammers could be found anywhere as far as online earning job is concerned. You don’t know that there were so many scammers here before you have joined in March 1, I think. We have already reported them to the admin and they had their own fate for their cheating.
Everyone is aware on what to do. We find it always a way to check them out. They no place here. The admin welcomes our vigilant attitude to get rid of those opportunists or the so-called scammers.

people now a days are so vulnerable. believing anything they read on the internet.
Maybe we cannot blame some of them for what was written was believable.
I hope that we can be discriminating in choosing what we read.
For those who are posting selfies, food, or places where they have been, I believe it is their freedom to so. Maybe they have a purpose in posting these photos.
-
I agree with you, some people could had a purpose for posting so much selfies, food and places they went; maybe for advertising and promotions purposes. Just respect them for doing it, anyway we can always scroll down
or ignore. For those posting fake news, they should think otherwise. They should think
of the consequences.

I see, Your last post about your personal experience and the topic is good but unfortunately it didn’t attract much more attention. You can post anything you like but you have to design your article in such a way that it attract the masses. Something that other finds interesting or Informative from your experience as well.
You watch daily news on TV and news paper and after every news we have this news analysis programs that discuss about some particular news with different angles and provide their opinions on it.
So, my question is why people watch such debates or analysis programs where they know what the actual new is. People watch this because they want to go deeper into the news and background and some missing possibilities which they are missing since they are not expert. We all have people who love to discuss latest news and give their insights about the news with their point of view and they are open to listen to others point of view as well. That is where discussion begins.
People interact with things where they have common interest in. Something which add value. So you watch news and you have something to say about the news. It can be more in-depth Information Or much possible link to another event. You can write about it and don’t forget to share with your friends online on different social media platforms so they can pop-in to your written discussion and add their comments which can even refine your article and provide more possible outcome.
Hope this will answer your articles. try to add more attractive titles and images in your post that also helps others to being attract and read your writing.
Thanks – Support
-
That was really an helpful advice from your end, yes I watch news but never got an idea of the way you have explained me that why people watch news and what could be the use if they watch and I write on the same topic. I have to discuss on things that make the topic more interesting and encouraging people more to talk on it.

The explanation of LB Support sums it all. I do not have to explain more, but I just wanted to add something, proofread or edit your article before posting it. Also think of more interesting topics that will attract readers.
-
Yes the support team has helped me out on exactly what am supposed to concentrate on. Actually being my first writing site and experience had no idea on what topic should be considered. But now I am ready and with the support of beautiful people like you and others will surely make the best out of this awesome site.
-
-
Support seems to have covered the basics but I’d like to point out that your spelling and grammar could use the help of auto-correct. It’s completely okay if English isn’t you first language, or if you’re just not used to the written word but I do recommend re-reading your posts before posting!
Terrible spelling and grammar always kills it for me (even if mine can be quite awful at times). However, I do wish you the best of luck in your future posts and I hope you do end up improving the feedback! 🙂
-
Yeah you are absolutely right, I do need to concentrate on my English and Grammar. Sorry but English is not my first language and really need to work on it to improve. I have taken your advice positively and will make sure there are improvements😊

Oh my! I am sorry, my Title should be: “Did you Win a Challenge?” I failed to notice the grammatical error! I could not edit it once published.
