@scheng1: LOL at Trump’s hair! I agree that he’s got to be the most trending topic these days.

Regarding the topic (OP), I still don’t understand how to earn “big” here but if it’s SEO-based, then a typical rant post would not cut it. Not unless you use keywords that are widely searched for in Google as part of your rant, then maybe you can…[Read more]

I love shopping online. It is really convenient to buy things (especially the heavy items) and have it delivered to your doorstep. Apart from that, it is also very convenient especially during the SALE season to […]

    • i like shopping online too. very convient and love the extras they give you. Amazon is my favorite store to shop at.

      • Oh Amazon is definitely one of the online stores I buy stuff from! I love the cheaper or wider range of products to choose from not to mention that at least I don’t have to bring everything home (we just commute)!

    • Sounds like you struck gold. I have a skin lotion, Vanilla Pear by a company called: Jean Philippe fragrances LLC , New York that also comes in Rosemary Peppermint. They moisturize and don’t leave a greasy after feeling. They sell for a dollar each for a 20 fluid oz. bottle and sold at certain Dollar stores in the US.

      • Yeah, I am one happy girl! ๐Ÿ™‚ It is really nice to see these stores offering an alternative in comparison to the mainstream skincare brands we see in our grocery aisles.

    • I wish I have some money to buy something online.. lol..

      • Oh for sure you will! Sometimes I wish I don’t know these websites so I can stop from buying more. LOL!

    • I think if you try out the BB and CC cream, you will fall in love with these.
My mum loves it very much, because the BB cream really hides her imperfection.
She uses it together with sunblock.

      • Thanks for sharing! I don’t know, I never really liked wearing BB cream/foundation (not unless I will go to an event). That’s one of the things why I decided to buy skincare online because the ones available here in the groceries are ALWAYS BB/CC creams for day use and I don’t like it.

    • I also love buying from the shops but since I discovered websites like Jolse, I realized I can buy a certain skincare item that works in just a fraction of the price I’d usually spend! Well, maybe not cos now I am addicted looking at the items for sale and find it hard to difficult not to click buy!

    • I always shop on line thru LASADA.There are so many items that I already purchased at Lasada thru on line and what makes it feel good to me is, I pay through COD, so I can chance myself to check the product. Shopp9ng on line in truly effortless. I like their door to door delivery.

      • I think LAZADA is only available in Asia, isn’t it? eBay is also a nice site for me to buy these things especially during auction but when I really need to buy a skincare product, JOLSE is my go-to site these days. They are quick to ship the items and it arrives well-packed to protect the item from breaking.

    • Shopping is the weakness of women and burden on men but useless shopping. Make shopping but according to need and always buy necessary stuffs but unnecessary stuffs because it is waste of time and money. But today Today I’m going to be talking about my shopping experience with Jolse!

I made a purchase with them at the start of April when I started to get a little bit OCD about completing some sets of Korean Cosmetics that I have incomplete at the moment! Unfortunately and fortunately for me, these turned out to be quite hard to find and I ended up finding a lot of new Korean Cosmetic stores to shop with and waste all my money in!

I have an extreme dislike for this layout of store. I hate little sidebars and advertisements down the side of my screens, it’s just irritating to me! What makes matters worse is that this site logs you out if you are inactive for 5 minutes! You have to have a password that’s at least 10 characters long and includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation.

My banking passwords aren’t as complicated as that!! It also doesn’t save your logon details properly, so every time it signs you out every 5mins, I have to retype the long stupidly hard to remember password. If I didn’t need a couple of products from this store I wouldn’t shop there because it’s just too freaking annoying!

cessy08 wrote a new post, Skinfood Balsamic Oil Peeling Mask (Review) 8 years, 5 months ago

Skincare is one of my latest “thing” these days. One of the things I try to do regularly is to peel off dead skin cells from my face. I realized that since giving birth, my skin has become a little bit more “dry” […]

    • glad to hear this is working out for you. i think what you may have is called a pregnancy mask. i am glad this oil is helping out.

      • I didn’t know there is such thing – thanks for letting me know! I just noticed that my skin tends to get flaky during winter since giving birth. It never happened to me before so I just have to do something about it!

    • Balsamic thing gives a soothing feeling and it gives relief to our feeling too.I am so happy for you this balsam you mentioned here gives no allergy to you.

      • Oh definitely – I don’t mind buying this again in the future when I ran out. But that might not happen anytime soon since I only do this peeling thing once a month and only needed very little of the product to cover my entire face.

    • Facial mask is a kind of skin care product that you apply on your face. It is considered as one of the easiest ways to get healthy and supple skin within a few minutes. Also as face masks are designed for different skin and age types, it is highly recommended to include it to your skin care routine.

There are a variety of facial masks available in the market. Some of the face masks are to be worn at night, while you are sleeping. There are also face masks that you can use before taking a bath or shower for a short time period. Even face masks can be made at home with the help of some easily available ingredients from your kitchen. No matter which type of mask you choose to wear, keep in mind that it will hugely benefit your skin.

Usually a facial mask product is to be used for a short period of time on the face. It takes only a few minutes to apply, and then you just have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off. The process of applying a face mask is simple and easy and it gives you immense benefits.

    • Though the price is reasonable and the smell is good we should know that it is having vinegar in it. Vinegar can be helpful in peeling off the dead cells from the skin but if it is used regularly it may damage the skin also.
I generally do not prefer these chemical products. I use only butter and cucumber mask. They are always safe and more organic in nature without any side effects.
There is one more product entered into the market. This is Almond mask. This is also very nice and safe to use.

    • yea balsamic is good but oil based is not for all, i tried it and got red spot on the face. the doctor said its allergy to the formula now i use only brands, though pricey but still its good to use sometimes, also using olive oil alone helped my skin and i use it for makeup removing, its awesome and has not artificial formula but it has to be good quality

    • thanks for the tip of the coffee beans that have a fruit scent tasting sour. i like coffee beans too and grinding them fresh.

      • Isn’t it wonderful to smell freshly ground beans (especially after waking up!). Yeah fruity beans tend to be a little bit more acidic. So as much as I can I avoid it or try to find something with a “caramel/chocolate” infusion so it balances it out.

    • My favorite coffee is a brand from San Mig coffee sometimes granulated from Nescafe.Nice to know of this coffee brand.

    • I never tire of trying new coffees. I finished a bag of Kenya last month. I have been on Community brand for the past few months. So for the moment it’s been a daily cup or two of Hotel Blend. I will certainly check your recommendation for your El Salvador blend. I hope I can find it at Walmart. If not, I can check Amazon unless of course one of the many supermarkets in Dallas has it on their shelves. Thanks for sharing.

      • I love the options available in the US (and the price is not too bad, either!). Kenyan beans are strong but has a dark, rich flavor to it – so definitely goes well with milk. I hope you find it in Amazon. I am not sure you can get it from Walmart, though.

    • thank you for sharing this recipe. muffins are fun and easy to make too. makes for a great breakfast.

      • Oh definitely! It is kind of easy to make but in the morning – every minute counts so I just do these during holidays when nobody is in a hurry to leave for work ๐Ÿ™‚

    • These sound very delicious! I am not one for overly sweet muffins – especially the ones with chocolate chips in them. But I love raisins and cinnamon!

      • Oh I know what you mean about overly sweet muffins! That’s why I prefer to do these at home not to mention it is really expensive if you think about it!

    • I love your recipe. I will sure tell my wife about it and try to have her whip up some of these for Sunday brunch. Thank you for sharing.

    • Seems a good recipe. When you suggest something to add to make it thin or thick it reminds me of our first attempt to make chapatis. We were just married. We had planned on six chapatis but with this method landed up doing 20 ๐Ÿ˜€

      • HAHAHAHA Oh gosh I know what you mean, LOL! The thing with these muffins is that I knew how it should look by heart so there are times I don’t use the measuring cup anymore. Not to mention there are times when 2 cups of flour can be too runny for some – I don’t know why!

    • Nice recipe , I am hungry now.I am going to prepare this and would ask permission from you to copy the procedure, okay? Thanks in advance. It seem so yummy and tasty. My family would surely like this much.

      • Oh definitely! I hope you end up with yummy muffins, too! Let me know how it went for you. For leftovers, I just place it inside the fridge (or freezer) and just warm it up in the microwave when it’s time to eat. ๐Ÿ™‚

People who co-sleep with their kids or experienced co-sleeping would definitely relate to this experience. I know not everybody appreciates sleeping with their children for fear they will ALWAYS sleep in their […]

    • I loved this profile-pic whenever I saw it. Reminds me of so many sweet memories ๐Ÿ™‚ By the way I read few posts on ‘new mom’s experiences’ to get a closer look!

      • I think when my son grows up, I will have the same reaction to this photo ๐Ÿ™‚ My Dad sends me a message every now and then and he would tell me that he misses the time when we were young – coz now the house is so quiet with just him, my Mom and youngest brother around.

        • Your dad says true because children noise is the source of pleasure of happiness and when their echoes echo in the ears it seems the parents that nightingales and cuckoos are singing together sitting in the trees in the springtime.

Childhood plays an important role in old age if you child and youth both full of sweet memories so your old age will be sweet when you will remember the sweet memories lying on the bed all alone without wife or sometimes with wife.

Kids grow and leave the house with parents, daughters went with their husbands leaving the old parents in the hell of loneliness is the law of nature. I say to make old age sweet we must make our youth full of sweet memories.

    • Thank you for sharing this great piece.

    • I feel your deep love to your baby. I appreciate much mothers who are sleeping like this with their toddlers. I am not yet married and no child, so I cannot say more about sleeping manner with a child.

      • Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ Co-sleeping is a preference anyway not to mention that some households can’t afford it so that’s the only option they have. I just love these moments with him since he will not be small forever.

    • HAHA, I know what you mean. I used to sleep and rotate when I was little, though I can’t imagine or even think how I manage to do that before. My son also moves a lot (even close to sleep walking sometimes) but I guess I just got used to it. I wake up when he stirs and moves but I can sleep shortly after.

    • i think Co-Sleeping with own children is one of the best and beautiful experience of life. this is not provide the feelings of security of our kids but also give us lots of time to see them and feel them what really they expect from us.

      • Oh definitely. I am pretty sure that I will miss these days when I hold him as he sleeps – I can’t imagine doing the same thing when he is all grown up anyway! LOL!

    • Hmm, I don’t think so but most parents in the West seems to prefer to let the baby sleep on their own space due to SIDS (my Italian friends abhor the thought of co-sleeping!). Anyway, I actually saw an article written by (I presumed) an American Mom where she posted a photo of their sleeping area. She had a custom-made bed where everybody including ALL her kids sleep since they only have a one-bedroom house. They have a big family (I think more than 3 kids) and she explained that even if people “pressures” her to let her kids sleep in their “own rooms”, it’s not just financially possible.

    • I guess at the end of the day, the choices you make as parents depends on the type of parenting you want – there is no “right or wrong”. Whatever works, as they say. I think they are really BIG on not co-sleeping due to the accidents where a parent accidentally rolled over the child or something. But to be honest, I have read quite a few where the accident happened not in the bed, rather, in a sofa or something. Say, the parent probably tried not to sleep so cradled the baby in the sofa but was too sleepy he/she dropped the baby. Some accidents were in the bed but it is because the parent was too tired/too drunk. SIDS while co-sleeping can be avoided. In fact, not all babies who died due to SIDS were co-sleeping. A good number died in their own cot, car seats etc. So it is just wrong to hate co-sleeping and say it is a SIDS risk.

    • I have co slept with my nieces and nephews before and let me say it was not a very good experience especially when the kids decide it’s time to use your face or your stomach as a pillow for their legs. I used to think this was something done on purpose until my brother and my late sister confirmed that it has happens to them but it’s something that they are not aware of. Maybe they usually dream that they are swimming or flying thus finding them sleeping upside down in th3 bed hehehe. I personally don’t have kids but when they come am sure I will see it first hand and believe

    • I have read all the answers of the said question co sleeping some say it is good and some say it is not good. It is a matter of dispute. Let us solve this dispute.

I have thought many times this enigma and solved this mystery because my favorite subject is natural philosophy,I am professional astrologer, writer, English and Urdu poet.

It is a fact that salt makes salt. If you put something in the salt it will be salt after some days. The process is applied to co sleeping. I say mom can just sleep with their child in the room because mon’s eye becomes holy for the child.

But I say let not your children make co sleep with other children that are healthy than your child. Because power attract power and power draws the energy of the weak child. Suppose of your child is not healthy and the co sleeper child is health, as a result the healthy child will absorb the whole energy fo your child and as a result the child will be weak day by day.

Looking at this condition, different notions will appear in the mother’s mind screen why her child going weak day by day knowing not her horrible mistake.

Make experiment at your home, take a whore, looking glass, and give it a gentle girl to see the face in the glass. You will see after some times she will be bold and saucy because the whore’s face rays has penetrated into the mirror.

I advise the moss let not their children sleep with other children to save the child heath. thanks.

    • I have always wanted to visit Ireland. I love Guinness but have not ever had the stew. I bet it was really good. Great post.

      • Ah, my husband says that Guinness tastes differently from overseas in comparison if he drinks it here. When I used to live in Melbourne, he went there and visited me and bought a pint of Guinness. He said it tasted “odd” so hopefully you can visit Ireland to compare the taste? ๐Ÿ™‚ Using the beer in the stew made the sauce richer and darker – probably because the beer was a stout so there is more depth in flavour.

    • Wow, very nice story of your visit. It is so nice knowing the place through your vivid descriptions. I hope you enjoyed a lot during this moment with your loves.

      • Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ™‚ I love writing and reading about dining experiences. It is a good way to know what are the positives (and negatives if any) in a particular restaurant.

    • Thanks for appreciating. Yeah, I actually found Kilkenny (in general) a lot nicer and people are more polite than here in Dublin. It’s true, first impression makes a lasting image so it is really good to put your best foot forward especially when you are in businesses like this.

    • Yes, you enjoy the place that we have not seen still but you are lucky went there with family to wining and dining in the sunset and sunrise a wonderful trip.

Kytelers Inn is in the heart of Kilkennyโ€™s cathedral city and this family business has been run by Nicola Flynn and her team for the past 25 years. The building is steeped in history and full of stories that date back to 1324, when Dame Alice le Kyteler was branded a witch and sentenced to death. Apparently between making the Inn a den of merrymaking, she saw off four husbands, and then proceeded to escape her death sentence.

The evening you I think as visited you were seated on the ground floor beside a massive open fireplace, with a roaring fire which was perfect on the miserable evening. The menu was short and precise and everything served is prepared freshly and all ingredients are sourced locally. Children have their own section of the menu or have the option of half portions on the main menu.

A wonderful trip you enjoyed with family.
