Funny indeed. the guy must be having a nice time with you guys.
Why didn’t you give him a sip of the drink?-
HAHA, I think of the same thing as well. It’s like “Hey guys, were you planning to do something fun without me?” It is a good sign (I think) that he likes to spend time with us rather than other people. So Mum and Dad are still popular to him – so let’s see whether it’ll be the same 10 years from now xD

Oh it so happens! I recall when sometimes, kids woke up when we were just about to go to sleep after a tired night, or a tired afternoon. And it is so tough- you can’t do anything else. But be patient, it is a matter of a few years and you will not face this situation, even though then you will be faced with getting personal time, away from your child’s education and growing up needs.
-
HAHA, yeah I know. To be honest, I will definitely miss these moments when he grows up and need us less. My parents did so I am pretty sure it will be the same for me. Sometimes, it is just “tiring” when you are in that situation. It is getting better in a way and I appreciate all these moments with him. Although I guess it is only natural to want to have a little break sometimes but we can’t LOL!

Children are the pleasure of parents, toys of old men, friends of the angles, nature wise saint, frolic like sparrow… but also the source of trouble also at home and out of home. Talking about the domestic matter in the street in a loud voice but look good.
I think that The parent-child relationship consists of a combination of behaviors, feelings, and expectations that are unique to a particular parent and a particular child. The relationship involves the full extent of a child’s development.
Child’s development is affected by family conditions such as divorce, remarriage, and parental employment. The parent-child relationship has a more important influence on the child’s psychological development than changes in the composition of the household. Parenting that is responsive and demanding is related to healthier child development regardless of the parent’s marital or employment status. If changes in the parent’s marital status or work life disrupt the parent-child relationship, short-term effects on the child’s behavior may be noticeable. One goal of professionals who work with families under stress is to help them reestablish healthy patterns of parent-child interaction.
Parents children emotion base is emotions and emotions and emotions and nothing else. Be careful about your children, all parents.

I am familiar with Chef Jamie Oliver, but I did not know about his restaurant chain, Jamieโs Italian. I have no doubt the dishes are delicious! He’s a great chef!
-
Yeah I used a couple of his recipes published online and they were really tasty. I liked the food except that I found the lemon zest a bit too powerful for my liking. I mean, if I am eating a couple of pieces, it’s fine. But if I am eating the entire thing, it is too much.

Please, get real.
Literacybase has the slowest moderation this side of a turtle farm to prevent people from reaching their payout too early. They insure only a small number will reach payout. So they sit on items two/three days.
Most of us won’t get paid.
If I get paid for July it will be in October as it is too late for September. Gee… I wonder why?
-
I have been paid thrice already.
-
-
Congratulations for your payout. I wish you even more success down the line. I am also making efforts to reach my payout faster. Let me see how fast I can reach there.
-
Thanks for the well-wishes ๐ i just try to do the best I can to reach cashout every month, but there are times it is really hard to make time for ALL websites.
-
-
Congrats to you, i am sure you willcash out more as you get used to thissite
-
Thanks! ๐ I think I am getting the hang of the site to be honest but it really does require a lot of time and effort to reach cashout – that’s for sure. And the thing is that there are days when time is not really that much for me so I have to set LB aside while I work on other things.
-
-
Congrats. Activity is the key here.
-
Thanks for the well wishes. I agree that it is the primary requirement to reach cashout every month here but in order to do that, time is also necessary, which I is something I don’t always have. Regardless, I always try to do the best I can and see how it ends up ๐

Congratulations on your payout. I hope to eventually reach payout, my earnings are very slow as I don’t spend a lot of time on the site, but hopefully I can start dedicating more time to it in the future. I look forward to my first payout, I think it will give me some more motivation to interact and write more on the site, it will give me a push to make the needed time required to earn.

Yep, that’s LiteracyBase for you. It pays you well for your hardwork and your time. I’m a new member here and haven’t reached the $10 mark yet. So I can’t actually speak about payouts now. But as I have read many posts here and there, yours also, I can confidently say that it works. I’m a halfway down the pay myself, just like you. Hope to reach the mark in a week or so. And rest assured there are people like you who motivate us to write more and earn. Thanks for you post. Keep posting:)

when my little ones were young it was difficult to get them to sit down for 5 minutes, they wandered off pretty quickly that I couldn’t sit down to listen what the priest had been preaching

I don’t know what I’ll do if I have more than one child like this, to be honest, LOL! I can understand the frustration of some Church-goers when kids start to make noise but what can we do? It’s not as if we’re not trying but kids don’t really appreciate the Mass at that age. I seldom bring my son to Church because if the weather is bad, he has nowhere to go so more often, he stays at home (or inside the shopping centers) with his Dad while I go to Church. But while it is summer, I try to let him stay around for a few moments because I don’t want him to grow up thinking that Sunday is a day to go to the Disney store!
-
-
I was also told the same thing that babies can see things we don’t see. Well, they are still so pure and innocent so I wouldn’t be surprised if their angels are keeping them company! By any chance, do you still have these “encounters” until now?
-
In my church it’s a completely different setting. Am a protestant and I am religious as well, I always try to make time for church whenever I can.
In our church we have sections where everyone is attended to. First and foremost we have two services where th3 first one is for early riders like me, we start at 8.30am and the second service starts at 11.30am that’s the main services that run in the main sanctuary then there is a side for the youth church and the Sunday school church for the young kids between the ages of 3years and so on. In th3 main sanctuary there is a room for mother’s who have toddlers it’s well equipped with a toilet a sink and even a Macintosh where they can change the babies nappy when they are soiled. The Windows and walls are thick enough to hold in the babies cries. Nowadays chirches have overhead screens that televise the whole service so even if you are in that room you don’t miss anything you are part of the service by all means. So everyone is literally taken care off in our church. You will not hear kids running up and down the aisle causing a disturbance, the other kids are having their own classes in Sunday school, so Sunday services are nice and quiet during sermons. I just thank God that our pastor together with his pastoral team were able to come up with such a brilliant idea. Not so many churches have this kind of setting in their churches but it’s a no or idea that most churches should take up and keep the nursing mother’s in church on Sunday. -
babes are innocent and the friends of angels and closet to God due to innocent until they commit crimes and do their souls black. Most of the kid go into the church with parents some remain quiet and some make a noise because they cannot control their emotions looking at some awkward thing in men and women in church praying men and women.
I think that the church has a big aspect of nurturing development of children. It is important that children grow up with values and the church is very strategically positioned to do that. Today we are reminding the church of its divine role especially now when there are many conflicting aspects affecting children.
So far, the programme boosts of children spiritual nurture in a number of churches across the country, trained church leaders to respond to a number of community issues including peace building, restoring hope to the hopeless through the channels of hope programmes as well as equipping children with life skills to enable them overcome life challenges like early marriages, drug abuse among others.

wow delicious looking dumplings! that the name of gyoza fondly called here, dumplings.
I prefer steamed ones, but fried are good too.
Thanks for the recipe, will get the ingredients this week-
I think gyoza is mostly of Japanese origin while dumplings is of Chinese origin. And I think the steamed variant is something typical of Chinese cuisine. If I think about it, I can’t remember a time we went to a Japanese restaurant with steamed dumplings! ๐

ACTIVE TIME:
1 to 1 1/2 hours
TOTAL TIME:
1 1/2 to 2 hours
THIS RECIPE APPEARS IN:
Classic Pork Gyoza From ‘Japanese Soul Cooking’
Japanese gyoza dumplings are the perfect nibble: great on their own, but made even better with a cold beer. The classic pork gyoza recipe in Tadashi Ono and Harris Salat’s new cookbook,Japanese Soul Cooking, is a fine example of the form. They fill the wrappers with a piquant mixture of ground pork, garlic chives, ginger, cabbage, and minced garlic. To cook the gyoza, they start the dumplings in a ripping hot sesame oil-slicked skillet, add water, and let them steam until cooked through. Once the water evaporates, they leave the dumplings in the pan to form a crisp, brown bottom.
Why I picked this recipe: Gyoza are one of my favorite drinking snacks, and I’m guessing I’m not alone in that sentiment.
What worked: Follow the cooking directions to the letter and you won’t be disappointed. Yes, you’ll probably make a huge mess when you start to pan-fry, but all that oil clean-up will be worth it for the juicy, garlicky filling and beautifully seared wrapper.
What didn’t: If your cast iron skillet isn’t well-seasoned, you’ll want to cook the gyoza in a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking.
Suggested tweaks: You could substitute ground chicken, minced shrimp, or crumbled tofu for the pork if you’d prefer. If you can’t find garlic chives, you can substitute regular chives. Cornstarch will also likely work in place of the potato starch if you’ve got that handy.

Aloe vera has been used for a host of purposes since the ancient Egyptians called it the โplant of immortality.โ
Since then, its uses have become more targeted and medicinal, and it’s one of the leading therapies for sunburns.
Aloe vera is a cactus plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. It grows in dry climates such as those found in parts of Africa and India and has been used medicinally for centuries.
Aloe leaves secrete a clear gel that when broken off from the rest of the plant that can be applied topically to heal wounds and soothe skin.
Various studies have been conducted to examine the benefits of the aloe vera plant and it was found out that aloe vera does in fact have several properties that are effective in treating a variety of skin conditions, from flaky or dry skin, cosmetic ailments, hair and scalp problems to many more.
It is also said to be useful in treating wounds and burns, minor skin infections, cysts, diabetes, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, psoriasis, canker sores, skin ulcers and others, according to the Mayo Clinic
Aloe Vera helps with sunburn through its powerful healing activity at the epithelial level of the skin, a layer of cells that cover the body. It acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish its moisture. Because of its nutritional qualities and antioxidant properties, the skin heals quicker.
Aloe vera gel contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring.

Brazilian food is very similar to food I ate when I was growing up – in other words, like my mom’s cooking, even though she was American. Brazilian cuisine has similarities to Southern American food, and Cuban food, and Puerto Rican food and Bahamaian food … ๐ That’s basically what I eat and if the food is like that I know I will enjoy it! The way you described Brazilian food sounds like that. YUM! ๐
-
Oh, it is probably a lot similar given that they are Southern American, right? ๐ I love eating Southern American cuisine like creole. ๐

Looking at your title I thought your post would talk of your visit to Brazil. Taste of Brazil seems to be the name of the restaurant where you ate. I am told the water does give a dish a different taste. So did the dishes that your babysitter brought tasted different?
-
Oh, sorry about that. I would say I would love to visit Brazil someday but I think it is a bit dangerous now given the Zika virus and all. I don’t know whether that’s the water since I ate the dish in a restaurant here in Dublin. ๐ But noticed that they are quite strong using salt because even the rice was salty!
-
-
it looks great, i want to eat that
-
Yeah, it was really tasty. My stomach was really full especially after the mains but just wanted to taste a dessert as well. It was a good call for my husband and I to share just one plate. ๐
-
-
I don’t think I have ever eaten traditional Brazilian food, but now I want to try. I can’t get to Dublin, but a restaurant recently opened here in Oxford (Cosmos) that does food from around the world.
I visited, but didn’t see anything I identified with as Brazilian, but that could be me stuffing my face with the Indian and Chinese!
-
Oh, been to Oxford to visit a friend last year – when did the restaurant open? Is it a buffet? If it’s a buffet restaurant, I can understand why you ended up stuffing your face with Chinese food. Those dumplings are really tasty and easy to eat, it is too late to notice you are full!
-
-
Wow the food looks delicious. I never had a chance to eat Brazilian food. I am more on Italian and Filipino foods. I hope I can try to eat Brazilian foods as well especially the sausage pie and the dessert. Yum it really looks delicious!
-
wow, this looks so nutritious and yummy good for our health. Are you a chef? hehehehe maybe you are for you are a lover of may different kinds of recipes.
-
Makes me long for Brazilian dishes too!
-
Yes, Brazilian foods are tasty I have seen in TV shows but have not eaten yet because there is no friend of mine who lives in Brazil. I will describe Brazilian foods in such a way that One of the few dishes eaten the length and breadth of Brazil, feijoada is a hearty stew of black beans, sausages and cuts of pork of varying quality โ traditionally veering towards the lower end, with trotters, and ears all going into the mix.
Brazilโs hearty, flavorsome cuisine embodies the rich panorama of cultural influences in the South American country. It combines indigenous ingredients with the influence of Portuguese and West African culinary traditions, which account for its unique combination of spice, gusto and depth of flavor.
Explore what Brazilian food has to offer through the regional varieties of this rich cuisine, and find the best places to experience Brazilโs most famous dishes.

During my stay in U.S in the 90s, there were not so many varieties even in the U.S. Whenever, I was visiting a restaurant there was some item or other shown on the menu as a special dish. It does not mean, the list is growing every time, but the particular item was chosen for the day as a special item and concentration were given more on its preparation. This was what I noticed. Even in India also the Hotel industry was not developed as much as it is now. Various dishes, various types of hotels, with various choices …my God .everything is changed.
Generally, the Brazilian and Mexican foods will be quite spicy. Especially one should have guts to prefer Mexican dishes keeping a glass of water by the side ready to be taken whenever they are tested. Though they will be spicy, they are tasty also. This is the peculiarity of the Mexican and Brazilian dishes. One should taste them at least once in life to know what spicy means.
