How does society get better? Society gets better by change. Positive continuous changes. Those changes that will generate better living and more income. If we expect such changes to occur then we’ll have to be […]

    • there are pros and cons for social medias, it depends on how youuse them.
Some people use social medias to create cyber bully while some use theem for business purpose.

In general, you have to be cautious when using social medias, never leak out your ID detai;ls

    • Social media is one of the best places to give helping hands to other in every field of life. Share your literary works or your research work you will be rewarded one day surely because work never goes unrewarded on earth.

I give here the list of social media …
Here are some prominent examples of social media:

Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues.

According to statistics from the Nielsen Group, Internet users within the United States spend more time on Facebook than any other website.
Twitter is a free microblogging service that allows registered members to broadcast short posts called tweets. Twitter members can broadcast tweets and follow other users’ tweets by using multiple platforms and devices.

Google+ (pronounced Google plus) is Google’s social networking project, designed to replicate the way people interact offline more closely than is the case in other social networking services. The project’s slogan is “Real-life sharing rethought for the web.”

Wikipedia is a free, open content online encyclopedia created through the collaborative effort of a community of users known as Wikipedians. Anyone registered on the site can create an article for publication; registration is not required to edit articles. Wikipedia was founded in January of 2001.

LinkedIn is a social networking site designed specifically for the business community. The goal of the site is to allow registered members to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally.

Reddit is a social news website and forum where stories are socially curated and promoted by site members. The site is composed of hundreds of sub-communities, known as “subreddits.” Each subreddit has a specific topic such as technology, politics or music. Reddit site members, also known as, “redditors,” submit content which is then voted upon by other members. The goal is to send well-regarded stories to the top of the site’s main thread page.

Pinterest is a social curation website for sharing and categorizing images found online. Pinterest requires brief descriptions but the main focus of the site is visual.

Clicking on an image will take you to the original source, so, for example, if you click on a picture of a pair of shoes, you might be taken to a site where you can purchase them. An image of blueberry pancakes might take you to the recipe; a picture of a whimsical birdhouse might take you to the instructions.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, The Best Things in Life Will Take Lots of “Determination and Dedication” 8 years, 3 months ago

Who said that living in this world would be easy? In order to make it anywhere there will need to be some drive. No one can obtain success on prayer alone. “Prayer and Works.” Yes, someday’s will be filled with […]

    • What is it that makes people successful and I mean really successful compared to you or me? Are they smarter or do they work harder? Are they risk takers or have powerful and influential friends?

      How You Think is Everything.

Always be positive. Think Success, not Failure. Beware of a negative environment.

This trait has to be one of the most important in the entire list. Your belief that you can accomplish your goals has to be unwavering. The moment you say to yourself “I can’t…”, then you won’t. I was always given the advice “never say I can’t” and I’d like to strike those words from the dictionary.

I’ve found that from time-to-time my attitude waivers. A mentor of mine once said “it’s ok to visit pity city, but you can’t stay and there comes a time when you need to leave”. Positive things happen to positive people.

      2. Decide upon Your True Dreams and Goals: Write down your specific goals and develop a plan to reach them.

Write down my dreams and goals? Develop a plan to reach them? You mean like a project plan? Yes, that’s exactly what this means. You may have heard the old adage: A New Years resolution that isn’t written down is just a dream, and dreams are not goals.

Goals are those concrete, measurable stepping stones of achievement that track your progress towards your dreams. My goal is to start a second career as a freelance writer – what are your goals?

      3. Take Action. Goals are nothing without action.

Be like Nike and “Just do it”. I took action by reaching out and started writing. Every day I try to take some action towards my goals. It may be small, but it’s still an action. Have you taken action towards your goals?

      4. Never Stop Learning: Go back to school or read books. Get training & acquire skills.

Becoming a life long learner would benefit us all and is something we should instill in our kids. It’s funny that once you’re out of school you realize how enjoyable learning can be. What have you learned today?

      5. Be Persistent and Work Hard: Success is a marathon, not a sprint. Never give up.

I think every story of success I read entails long hard hours of work. There is no getting around this and there is no free lunch. But, if you’re working towards something that you’re passionate about, something you love – then is it really work?

Imagine coming from hardships and abuse and the only outlet is music. Where there’s a family who suffered through pain, heartache, and trials that so many can’t even imagine experiencing. The family who is blessed […]

    • I must be living under a rock. I didn’t know any of the DeBarge family members were still pursuing a music career other than El DeBarge. What they need to do to put themselves back on the map is collaborate with some of the new successful artists. Hey! It worked for Santana and he wasn’t even off the map! 🙂

    • This is a family that is really blessed and gifted in singing. I have in the part years listened to their music and I was so moved. Whoever has never heard this mellow voices doing their thing you ha e no idea what you are missing. I like the fact that the mother was fast enough in nurturing the talents in her children’s lives. She actually took time and analysed her children and thought that something could be done to take them to greater levels. That’s why I always say, that parents should watch their kids very closely cos you never know what you could get out of those children that you ha e in the house. If you see your child being persistent on doing some things even if you don’t like it, think twice before you ask that child to stop wasting their time doing it. Instead watch and learn and am sure as you continue watching you might just like what you see. something good can come out of that thing that you may not like. Give them a chance and see what comes out of it

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Stand Firm Through Adversity 8 years, 3 months ago

There’s always some sort of challenge. We can not go through life without problems. Some will experience more than others. Adversity is a given. Sometimes it’s like standing on the front lines of war. We must […]

    • People may not take this very well but adversities make us stronger. They may seem like they come to destroy us and make us weaker but the truth is, They make us stronger. Picture this if everything we did was perfect and there was no one to challenge us and tell us that whatever you just did was not good enough would we be willing to go the extra mile and do something much better than what we have? I don’t think so most of us would rather just sit back and enjoy the little that has been appreciated when we could get something bigger. That will make us settle in our comfort zones and that is not where God wants us to be. So when we are faced with adversities we should be thankful because they not only come to make our lives difficult but the same up the sleepy self in us to do much better. We should be thankful for that because it builds our self esteem and confidence.

    • Adversity is the part and parcel of human life it means that we are green no experience in the field. For each of us, unexpected, challenging situations, issues and problems are par for the course, and probably occur on the average of 25 times every day. They run the gamut from minor to major, i.e.,

you have an argument with your co-worker, teenager or partner; you don’t receive an important return e-mail from a customer; one of your key people arrives late on a very busy day; your speech doesn’t receive the reaction you hoped for; you’re not selected for an assignment you really wanted, the list goes on….

      Knowing that you have the skills it takes to deal with both your personal and interpersonal problems is a key factor in deciding to see them as opportunities and deal with them constructively. When you can self-disclose honestly and clearly;

when you can listen to others and to yourself with acceptance and empathy; when you can face your fears; when you can resolve conflicts so both people get their needs met; when you can set and achieve goals that really matter to you; you have many of the key tools needed to turn adversity into opportunities for learning and growth. That can be liberating and exhilarating.

    • I’m sorry, this title made me chuckle! It made me think of the stereotype of unilingual Americans who, when confronted by people who don’t speak English, just raise their voices!

In my experience, there are times to speak up and times to speak softly. Both approaches work, but in very different circumstances. Our greatest elders are often very unassuming personalities who sit off to the side and speak very softly.

    • There is time to sow and there is a time to reap just there is a time to speak with anger and there is a time to speak politely. I say that life is game of time and time is everything and nothing is out of time on earth and in space.

Lips and tongues lie. But actions never do. No matter what words are spoken, actions betray the truth of everyone’s heart.Jesus Christ said by their fruits ye shall know them,’ not by their disclaimers.

When someone has gifted you with one act of love after another, it’s only fair to ignore their bad moods and concentrate exclusively in the many things they’ve done for you. Acts and feelings should always prevail over moods and words

The more deeper you think, the more silent you become. You understand the reasons behind the reason. It may not necessarily mean you are short of words. You however know what ignorance can trigger and how to deal with ignorance and purpose. The timeliness of your word is surely on point

    • Yes. It is always the will power of the individual which makes him stand out in all adverse circumstances.
There are people who do like others prospering in their life. They disappoint them, they discourage them.
But, one should not pay attention to theirs
