Oh my god! I hope this situation has been improved today, if not, the blogger would be very anxiety, I guess.

The admin should come out and say something on this to clarify our doubts.

Regarding how long it would take for writing a 300 words post, I think it is not the issue of  fast typist or  slow typist as this is not a typing contest. It is all about idea sharing.  Inspiration, is hard to come to me, sometimes.

Same as the task of information collecting as well, thus it could be a tough job for a blogger to create a bl…[Read more]

I am the newbie here as well, yet  published any blog for the time being. This is always the question raised by the newbie. Regarding how long it required for an approval for the blog, I think it depends on the working time of the admin.

For those living in the east, like India, Asia countries, if we publish a blog in the earlier morning, we…[Read more]

SuperD wrote a new post, Freedom For Pets 8 years, 3 months ago

Sure people love pets. Mostly, the pets are the animals that are so lovely and cuddly. The soft furs, the lovely sounds and the activity we are doing together.
It would have been a great moment spending our […]

    • Animals should live in the place of their natural habitats not on the cage of a zoo because they will be a tendecy that they will become stressed.
When an animal is stressed they often can’t breed or reproduce, causing the animal to soon become rare. The animals are held in a cage, not being able to roam free, causing the animal to become depressed for life. Also scientists have proven that animals that are kept in cages become stressed, sick and don’t live as long. Furthermore, they should live a free life without anyone dominating them, Free-range animals will have had a happy life and have been able to peck at the grass, getting the nutrients they need to sustain themselves for their own survival in the animal kingdom.

    • Freedom for pets is must as for human being it a great pity we men are free and keep pets in cages is human beings’ mercilessness. Many people buy parrots, cockatoos and galahs because they ‘speak’, and are therefore entertaining. The birds then spend the rest of their lives in a cage, repeating meaningless phrases for the amusement of their ‘owners’.
These birds can live up to 100 years – that’s a long time to be locked up in small cage, often in solitude, with no room to carry out their natural behaviours, such as flying.

There is currently no adequate legislation addressing the needs of birds in captivity. Animal Liberation’s campaign, Freedom for Birds, aims to free the birds from their cages.

Flight is an innate biological function for birds, yet a standard cockatoo cage does not even allow a bird to fully stretch out their wings, let alone fly. Birds that normally fly vast distances in the wild are confined in small spaces and denied exercise.

Wild birds eat a variety of foods, including insects and plants. For example, the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo has been observed eating over 55 species of plants, including seeds, roots, fruits, berries and flowers. In captivity, birds are generally fed a commercial mix containing only a few different seeds.

Birds, who live up to 100 years, should not be forced to survive in a cramped cage for human pleasure. Animal Liberation is campaigning to outlaw the sale of wild birds from shops and markets.

    • Our whole garden is designed with birds in mind. They have a biridbath to frolic around. Trees to perch on, fruits to eat and the lush green environment is just what they need. Our dog Preit8i is never leashed. She as a well protected compound to roam around. She has her own soft bed to sleep on. She seeks our company most of the time.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Staying Connected Through Music 8 years, 3 months ago

Music is a great way to connect and to stay relaxed. Music can soothe those listening ears and without music the world would be so bland. The musical abilities have really advanced. Of course in today’s age more […]

    • One can’t imagine a world without music because one can hear the sound of music in everything. Once when I was a child, our house was very quiet. The only sound I could hear was a dripping water faucet in a sink that had a clogged drain. I could hear a melody ~ a pattern of notes ~ in the sound of the water dripping. If there were no instruments or voices, people would still make music out of their surroundings somehow. 🙂

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, The Benefits of Continuous Reading 8 years, 3 months ago

Reading certainly is fundamental. Reading helps keep us up to date. Imagine the world without books or reading material. We wouldn’t learn much now would we? There’s all sorts of material. Finding informative […]

    • Many successful writers say they got their start because someone gave them a book to read. In fact, many actors and people in various other professions say the same thing. Anybody who learns to read will never live to regret it.

    • Yes, reading makes man full and practice makes men perfect it is for those who read books and act upon the books message are happy on earth as the readers of the holy Bible.

A continuous reading makes men active and provides information about the whole world what the people of other countries are doing and writing or the coming generation.
The Benefits of Reading are as…
Reading keeps your brain young. …
Reading can melt away stress. …
      Reading boosts your vocabulary. …
      Reading improves empathy. …
Reading can encourage life goals. …
Reading helps you feel more connected.

Studies have shown that staying mentally stimulated can slow the progress of (or possibly even prevent) Alzheimer’s and Dementia, since keeping your brain active and engaged prevents it from losing power. Just like any other muscle in the body, the brain requires exercise to keep it strong and healthy, so the phrase “use it or lose it” is particularly apt when it comes to your mind. Doing puzzles and playing games such as chess have also been found to be helpful with cognitive stimulation.

Everything you read fills your head with new bits of information, and you never know when it might come in handy. The more knowledge you have, the better-equipped you are to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face.

Additionally, here’s a bit of food for thought: should you ever find yourself in dire circumstances, remember that although you might lose everything else—your job, your possessions, your money, even your health—knowledge can never be taken from you.

Therefore reading is must for all of us in extra time at home or late night.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Spending too Much Time Online Isn’t Healthy 8 years, 3 months ago

It’s a terrible thing when being online is stressful. It’s even worst when there’s websites that could care less about how their site is managing. When payments to certain members can be stalled and when the […]

    • I spend most of my time working online, with the exception of Sundays and Wednesday nights after Bible study. Have no issues with stress, cyber bullying, etc. When people act negative towards me and make distasteful remarks, etc., I click the OFF button in my brain. Sorry. I don’t have time. I got work to do!! If the other mean person had productive work to do too, they wouldn’t be expending their energy doing dumb stuff like picking on people they probably don’t even know! As for its effects on my health for sitting too long all day, reading and typing (and watching videos)? (Yawn.) I’m too old to care. 🙂

    • I agree with you treathyle Fox, many people work a lot on the net actually for some it’s like their life depends on it, so staying away is like torture for them. The net is a media platform for everyone to do and say whatever they want. So someone just needs to be careful with the friends they make on different sites on the net, that way you are able to put tabs on everyone you chat with. One thing the internet can have all sorts of frustrating issues but the best way to avoid problems is to shut your ears from anything negative

      • Before there was eMail and the Internet, there was the telephone. In my old jobs, I spent a lot of time on the phone working with co-workers all around the United States. Never physically met some of them until long after we have developed a good working relationship. Either they came on a business travel trip to where I was working or I made an official trip to their workplace. It’s all about establishing a line of communication, working together, and getting the job done. It’s just that some folks think they can “hide” using the Internet and it gives them a license to do things to you that they would not do to your face. Those kind of people are just silly! I can’t say “childish” because I have a grandchild, about 7 years old, who handles herself on the Internet in a more mature manner than some grown folks!

    • Spending too much time on internet is injurious to our mental and physical heath because man is the man’d peace of heart and mind and inanimate things cannot speak to men just like computer does not talk to men but we read the computer in lone.

I read once in the magazine that Researchers at the University of Gothenburg found that those who constantly use a computer or their mobile phone can develop stress, sleeping disorders and depression.
The team studied the habits of more than 4,100 Swedish men and women, aged between 20 and 24, over the course of a year to reach this conclusion.

‘It was easy to spend more time than planned at the computer (e.g., working, gaming, or chatting), and this tended to lead to time pressure, neglect of other activities and personal needs (such as social interaction, sleep, physical activity), as well as bad ergonomics, and mental overload.’
The study also found a correlation between stress and always being available on the phone, especially regarding the burden of guilt for not replying to messages.

Even people who played video games online faced a greater risk of suffering from depression, with Thomee saying: ‘Daily computer gaming for 1–2 hours meant an increased risk for symptoms of depression in the women.

‘Often using the computer late at 48 night (and consequently losing sleep) was a prospective risk factor for stress and sleep disturbances, including reduced performance, in both sexes.’
The team said people need to set limits on the time they spend in front of a screen or phone, and limit demands on their availability to avoid mental disorders.
