Dawnwriter wrote a new post, The Tragedy of Child Heatstroke Deaths in Cars 8 years, 1 month ago

It can take only a few moments of carelessness for a catastrophic tragedy to occur and this statement is especially true in case of young children dying of heatstroke after being left in a hot car for an extended […]

    • Leave a kid in car all alone and go for some shopping. What a terrible thing it would be! I just can’t imagine this as it is disturbing me. It is the extreme of carelessness and must be avoided at any cost to ensure the safety of these little souls. May God keep every kid safe and sound.

    • You are right. It is becoming very common to forget kids in a car and involve in some other activity.

Dawnwriter replied to the topic Do you like Horror Films? in the forum Group logo of MoviesMovies 8 years, 1 month ago

I wouldn’t watch a horror movie even if I am getting paid to do so. I hate horror movies especially those which show dolls and children possessed by demons.

The images stay with me for a long time. I watch very little TV and few movies so I am very careful and choosy when it comes to watching something on screen.

Dawnwriter wrote a new post, Great Opening Lines of Great Novels 8 years, 1 month ago

Great opening lines are very important for any work of literature. Whether you are writing a novel, a short story, a blog post or a newspaper article, a great opening line will make sure that your reader stays […]

    • I know almost all of those you have quoted… also remember; “Scarlett O’Hara was not beautiful but few men noticed when caught by her charm.”

“The Third Camel died at dawn.”

      • Yes. They are all great people. I think you are having some knowledge in Literature. But I am not. So the only thing I can do is just to appreciate the good writers and persons having good taste in literature. Thank you.

    • Opening lines are very not only in the writing of novels but also on academic works. I remember the days when I was to write my final year project my supervisor made me realized that my abstract must capture it all. That it must summarize the whole section of my project works. To put it shortly quality of opening lines cannot be overemphasized.

      • My Masters were asking us to write the project report. They were taking them to their houses and were making corrections. They were giving instructions in pen so that a student can remember the things well.

    • All great authors know how important an opening line is to grab the reader’s attention and instantly connect with them. But there is no opening line ever written that will ever be better than the one penned by Charles Dickens to introduce the reader to “A Tale Of Two Cities.” 🙂

      • I don’t think they are all necessary nowadays. People do not bother about the great opening and great closure. They want essence. They want information but not transformation. The transformation is already taking place and will take place without any effort. So they concentrate more on information.

    • yes. Those are great lines.

    • Yes. These opening lines and closing lines are meant for those who used to sit comfortably after their lunch and dinner in the open air. They need have to worry about their comforts not at all. They were thinking and knitting their words. I do not think they were doing that also. I can say that they wrote for their next generations. Who taught them about these closings and openings? No one I think.

    • This one fits Stephen King’s definition of great opening line: “Listen. Come in here. You want to know about this.”

    • Some very great quotes indeed!

I was reading a very interesting article recently.

It stated that when the ancient Chinese people built the Great Wall of China, they thought they would be safe from attackers and foreign invasion and yet they […]

    • ah…..The position is aptly applicable to almost all countries in the world including India as it is my concern being an Indian. Totally worst…I do not get words. Better I do not comment on the subject more and it will be right and good for my health.

Otherwise, where from the political leaders of the world get so much of money in their foreign accounts. It is against which the Panama Papers worked on . If the names of leaders and other rich people of U.S have not found their place in the leaked out list it does not mean that they are pious and sacred people on the Earth.

I really wonder how the two candidates in the U.S Presidential elections are assuring people of good roads, unemployment, health provisions, and assurances on the women’s’ problem made me think that the U.S is not as developed yet as they projected themselves to the world.

    • There are many people who want power just to have it. They are inferior people. They have no morality no real interest. They want what they can get.

    • I agree. In most nations where the citizens are suffering, it’s not the result of an attack from the outside, but corruption from the inside. The weakening from within is what makes the nation vulnerable to an outside enemy attack. It happens over and over. But folks don’t learn the lesson and/or ignore and talk themselves into believing “That will never ever happen to us!” But it happens!

Dawnwriter wrote a new post, Ablution: A Two Minute Complete Cleanliness Regimen 8 years, 1 month ago

Before Muslims pray or read the Holy Quran, they are obliged to make ablution or wudu.

This entails washing of hands, rinsing the mouth, cleaning nose, washing the face, arms up to elbows, wiping ears and […]

    • This is why it is so interesting to read others’ post because you are being educated and learned of other peoples’ culture, belief and traditions. Just like now, I know now what is ablution. The cleansing regimen of Muslim. In Catholic, there is also the washing of feet but not the entire body and face.

    • Wow this is unbelievable to know just how much muslims take to clean up. The amount of time that they take to clean up is amazing if we were all this dedicated on religion I think this world would be a beautiful place to be. We are always told to clean ourselves up wash our hands thoroughly before eating. Yet there are people who are doing this religiously every single day I must applaud our Muslim brothers and sisters. You have put it out so well for each place that we clean there you have mentioned him benefits of washing this is a good challenge for all of us.

    • Ablution is one of the most important activity before every sacred work. Before saying Namaz every Muslims get ablution so that he or she get complete cleanliness. It is told by God through the Holy Prophet in all nations on earth.

The Main Function of Ablution (Wazu)

Every body on earth must know that the man who keeps link with God remains save and enjoys God countless blessings on earth and will enjoy in Heaven. When we intent to clean her self or himself it links man;s soul to God and thus man feels pleasure spiritually and feels freshness in his whole body organs.

When we make sins our link with breaks anon and God does not listen to our cries is a solid fact read the Holy Quran or the Holy Bible. Bit people consider the holy books just fiction and the tales of days gone bye.

Every holy soul anon links her being to God’s being sitting on earth and if any prays to God the prayer is answered anon and its result the prayer maker eels on earth.

Therefore we must remain holy 24 hours because we all are born to die not to live longer here. Our forefathers have gone and their forefathers have gone and their forefathers have gone….

None remains here for ever but immortal is the name of God and other all are mortal.

Dawnwriter wrote a new post, Azan: The Call To Prayers In Islam 8 years, 2 months ago

The azaan is the call to the prayers in Islam, recited by the muezzin usually from the minarets of a mosque. The main purpose behind the loud pronouncement of azaan five times a day is to remind the Muslims to […]

    • Oh..Good one. Good information has been provided.
Whenever I hear the Azaan early in the morning I recollect my father who was bedridden in the hospital. He was undergoing critical treatment and the doctor has already expressed his inability. The chances were almost nil. I returned from the hospital with a deserted heart. I was washing my face and expecting a call. Already contacted some of the relatives and informed the position. When I heard the call there was my sister on the phone. She informed about the demise of the father . The Azan and the information on the Cell phone have I think got synchronized in their frequencies. I started weeping for my father
Since then, whenever I woke up early in the morning I automatically I recollect my father and simultaneously listening to Azan.
      ThankQ for the feed.
