@Shavkat, those full time here may do it but the problem now is literacy does not pay bloggers that reach 100 dollars.

Interesting choice you have to taste in the summer, I like mango but I have not tasted chocolate much. Would like to taste the same during this summer. We have many things which we have not tasted. It would be a good thing to try out something new too. I like the family pack as the content in the pack is more compared to the other…[Read more]

This is a problem only faced during the beginning of the summers and the rainy or winter seasons. As for those who are used to eating food out on the streets all year through it does not affect much but it may do damage in the long run. As you told even I was having food outside for more than seventeen years once the quality went down and…[Read more]

I think none, because it was just a mistake to do that. See, they were gone already.

In the USA laws and regulations are strictly enforced and the density of population compared to what India has is less. Even here laws are enforced but the inspectors are few and eateries many. Here there are many who eke out a living for the family by running eateries and unfortunately they are not too well educated about hygiene…[Read more]

    I don’t act […]

    • really thats so sweet from you and yoru friend who did all that, nice things means meaningful things not pricey things, its by the menaing oft he things not by the price of the things or by it is sizes, its only has a meaning when its from people you like and when you need it or they need it and gave it to you, its so beautiful to feel for others when they dont say a word and help also without them to ask you to help

      • @mangoh ,

        Thank you for saying that.

They are after all my parents. I am just trying to return the love they gave me and my siblings while we were growing up. They sacrificed a lot in order for me and my siblings to have a nice life and be sent to college.

Now, that I already have a family, I see to it that I still have the time to be with them in my free days from work and give them the things they may want. Although, my father being a retired judge have a big pension, this little thing such as giving to him this gift that is supposedly for me, made him so happy.

    • That is so nice to hear this thing about you my friend. You are a person with a kind and generous heart , because you like sharing things especially when it comes to our love ones.

You share without asking for return and that is what is expected of us when we help people or share our time to help other people.

Really, you volunteered in Central Asia? When was that and what did you do as a volunteer? And were you not given any allowance for your needs there, or were you in allowance basis?

It is really a nice feeling when in our own little way, we are able to share what we have not waiting for any return at all.

    • That is how we should be to our parents. Loving and caring. Even if we give them little things, it means a lot to them already.

That’s because they feel important when we give them these things they want. Especially, when they are already getting old, the least we can do is be with them, talk and share stories with them. Time is already getting shorter for them, so we should find the time to even just be with them and give them small things like their favorite foods.

They took care for us all since our birth and until we can be on our own already, so when the time comes that they are already a bit older, we can start paying back those days when they took care of us.

    • So funny. Moms can complain about a gift we give them and we’ll bend over backwards so that she will be pleased. :0

      • @Treathyl FOX ,

Yes, moms would complain of our gifts. My mother is like that.
She would complain that she has lots of them already, when I gifted her a shawl and a bag.

Father got angry at her for being that way and reprimanded her that she should be happy we gave her a gift and it comes from our heart. The next time around , she didn’t complain anymore.

That is why, I like giving a gift to my father, because he would really smile from ear to ear and would thank profusely for it. Little things means a lot to him already. 🙂

I think it is easier to aim for a dollar a day. It is achievable without mentally and physically burning yourself out.

I don’t think even a very prolific writer spending 10-12 hours here can write 10 lengthy articles on a daily basis but it would be great if we can help literacy base earn more money and hopefully the payment rate per article can…[Read more]

    • different peopel like not the same thing, i hope that both options are gong to be there so people should pick the one that they alike and better for their needs, yea

    • You mean they have a charge for transactions of that amount and that only one bank doesn’t charge? Maybe it is to discourage the people from having big transactions like that.

Good thing here that some banks charges the once money transfer from PayPal. Although, other transactions such as application for Manager’s check has a fee too.

Though here too, even if there are ATM machines already for withdrawals and deposits , you can see that in some banks there are a lot of people waiting for their transactions. Sometimes specially on a Monday, you will go there 9:30 , you will be called to window to transact your withdrawal or deposit by 12 in the afternoon.

    • Wow! Anyway, we’re all waiting when it will finally come to existence.

I was just reading an article on Literacybas which described the importance of water in humans’ life. True there is no life without water and the day water would no more available there won’t be any life r […]

    • Yes water is a great element of life. We do everything with water without water humans can’t leave ,infact there will be no living thing without water.

    • Here in the Philippines, when summer comes the rivers and small body of waters dry out.

Even our deep well , last summer didn’t have water even if we keep pumping it. The hot water dried it up.

Another problem is that garbages are thrown by undisciplined people in rivers. That’s why also the rivers cannot be relied upon to get water for the plants and for laundry.

Even our drinking water cannot just be gotten from the faucet anymore because we are scared that the source is dirty . We buy our drinkng water, which is another expense.

Oh summer is coming for sure, the now functioning deep well will not function again because It will be dried up again. 🙁

    • How can having a free zone for rapists solve the problem of having many rapes. That would even entice them more to do it. Besides, they are like exhibitionists who also derive pleasure in making people cringe with fear when the see one.

Though, I don;t agree that we should shoot them. But the government should have them jailed once the raped victims have been proven to be raped by them. Or maybe they should just cut the penis , so they won’t have a chance of raping aagain.

    • My opinion, I agree all rapists should be sentenced for life in prison or killed openly with no hesitation.

Tea is now a well sought beverage. So, in India there are tea plantations. I think we don’t have one here, just coffee.

Are those women in the picture workers in the tea plantation? Are they dressed like that when they are out there in the field?

How do they know that a tea leaf is ready for harvesting and be made into teas?
