As expected the international tribunal in The Hague has rejected the claim of China behavior in the South China Sea. And that is not all but has accused Chin for construction of artificial islands, saying that all such claims to sovereignty over the waters neither have any legal basis or found any history of Chinese claims.
Actually it all started with a case filed in the International court by the Philippines, which was seen as an important matter in China’s rising interfere and building of air force base claiming over 90% of the waters of China Sea. There is no doubt that this all is being done under a strategy by China as a global power and in its strong bid of rivalry with the United States for last couple of years however, the presnt decision by an International court would certainly force China to reconsider its aggressive policies in this particular region and in rest of the world in general.
However, China will not give up so easily to pressure that will be coming on them in Asian region or even being labeled as an untouchable in international circles as China is a super power with almost as good a military power as the USA in itself. But there is no doubt that it is for the first time that someone has won a legal fight against China or China has been asked to clarify in the international justice system.
There is no way Chinese government going to bow down to this decision or reverse its decision or reverse their stand as Chinese president immediately said in no uncertain manner that China had no intention to compromise on their borders and waters. However, whatever the Beijing says the decision by the international court will certainly pressurize the Chinese. The China was so far trying to pressurize all its neighbors especially in the South China Sea region with its military might but the scenario will change to a certain extent now. The scale now should tilt in favor of concerned parties especially, Philippines, Vietnam and up to some extent Indonesia.
The chances are China might react more aggressively and restrict foreign ships from passing through the area in question. Not only the ships but China may restrict all air traffic in that area with immediate effect to show its power over the area but if China does so it will be doing so with a mass reaction against it coming from the international community which will not be an easy situation even for a superpower like China.
The China would have done that easily a few years before but not in present situation when its GDP has taken a southward dip and China is under immense financial crisis and the Chinese workforce is facing a serious job crisis. The possibilities are that China will take up the matter in the forthcoming G20 meet to be held on 4th and 5th September in Hangzhou, the capital of China’s Zhejiang province. However, China cannot afford bad relation with ASIAN countries with a meeting scheduled in the last week of September in Laos, Vietnam. However, you can never say anything for sure about China so let’s wait and watch their next move.

Yes, in future China will be the whole supper power on earth and I have read somewhere that USA fa;; will start with the victory of trump will lead USA to the blind wall.
I have read in the newspaper that On July 12, an international tribunal in The Hague issued a scathing rebuttal to China’s expansive claim under the nine-dash line, declaring it had no legal basis, and that any claims must be made on the basis of maritime entitlements from land features. Following the defeat, what has been Beijing’s reaction so far?
Finally, Chinese planes took to the sky, as two civilian aircraft landed on new airstrips built on Mischief Reef and Subi Reef, both of which are disputed features. China’s air force also sent its H-6K strategic bombers, along with fighter aircraft, scouts and tankers to patrol the disputed islands (including Scarborough Shoal), while announcing China “will continue to conduct combat patrols on a regular basis in the South China Sea.”
I think in lone that But will Beijing be successful in controlling the nationalistic rhetoric, or to borrow a phrase from Mao Zedong, could the ruling from The Hague be “the single spark that starts a prairie fire?”
