Some people think that all the vegetables and fruits are equally healthy if you eat them in the balanced quantities. Or qualities. But, nobody exactly knows what is a balanced diet or what quantity of food we have to take in our system to call it sufficient.
It is not said if you eat too much of them that they will keep your body healthy, and it is never 100 percent sure that we get the most out of the vegetables from our stores.
Don’t forget that many vegetables come to the stores treated with the various poisons, or even not ripe enough but still they are sold on the market.
It is not surprising that many people don’t know what exactly they are taking in, or how much calories a certain vegetable or fruit contains.
The same mistake like many people who make with juices or sodas, they contain so much sugar which is just an overloading decapitation element to any healthy diet.
I will bring you some data about the most common and one less common vegetable that are packed with the beneficial vitamins and antioxidants.
Even if it is less popular in your country or you dislike it, try to follow the recommended weekly consumption.
I understand that not an every country has these vegetables growing as natural, domestic plant, but I am sure they all have a common or similar plant with the similar chemistry.
I am not a great supporter of this food , mostly because of its smell and a fact I have to cry every time I am making a meal with it.
Onions have the extremely notable smell and the scent can go everywhere, including hair or clothes. Do not plan to exit your home while not taking a proper hair wash is you had fried onions.
Onions are the cancer-fighting antioxidants rich vegetables, rich with the phytochemicals that heal lungs and internal glands, same as it regulates a level of blood sugars.
While some people adore corn, I can’t say I am into this much. Corn has a big amount of healthy but invasive fibers, so it flakes disturb my stomach. I can’t stand it and I will eat it only if absolutely necessary.
Well cooked corn has a high level of antioxidants like lutein, which combats blindness. So, besides cleaning our intestines, it also protects our vision.
Everyone in my home hates the peas with the passion, so I don’t have any reason to cook it often. Personally, I loved it but only in few ways prepared. I absolutely hate broths and all the pea soups I find obnoxious and disgusting in taste.
Eating the peas daily like any other legumes lowers the risk of cancer, in particular, the stomach cancer.
The kale is good when it goes on a plate, but the problem with this delicious food is that it is absolutely disgusting the next morning. I tend to avoid it forever, but it is confirmed that among the green food this one is one of the healthiest.
Kale is vegetable packed with vitamin C, an antioxidant that will lower the risk of disease concerned the heart and high cholesterol.
This food is an item crown of an every childhood nightmare. My children avoid it like the fire and I have a war every time I try to suggest this as a very healthy food for a healthy child diet. It is not passing without very loud argumentation. Broccoli has a notable taste and it is not everybody’s cup of tea. I find a few people who are adults and like this.
Broccoli almost like any green leafy vegetables fights efficiently cancer and eating them weekly a few times it can reduce a risk of bladder cancer by 50 percent.
This is everybody’s favorite second vegetable. The first one being all loved and accepted potatoes. But, there is a big problem with our people who usually hate to use it as an only food item and usually merging it with other fatty meals and blending it in the heavy soups or stuffed cabbage with meat and rice.
Only one red bell pepper provides our body with 150 percent of the daily vitamin C recommended values. This vegetable does miracles by preventing early atherosclerosis.
Nope, telling my kids they will grow strong and healthy is not the number one reason why would they eat the spinach. I tried the cartoons and songs, but this beautiful green plant still can’t get a passing green light in their little world. It just tastes so wrong.
Spinach will not give you a super strength but it will give you the carotenoids, and antioxidants that help to prevent illness connected to the eyes.
Nobody at home even heard about this vegetable before I brought it to a notion. Domestic people are not used to eating this food, so it is not accepted beyond diet freaks and fitness folks. It is simply something that it is foreign, distant and strange.
The alfalfa sprouts are the rich source of the beta-carotene, and antioxidants that will protect us from cancer, maintain our skin, hair and nails healthy and shiny, the same as our bones, teeth, and glands.
Green balls with the weird taste and funny smell? Who hates them the most? Well, another story of my life. I didn’t like them when I was a kid, how can I expect my children to adore it. I am lucky if I don’t need to pick those balls off my carpets and floor. It is a healthy vegetable with unfortunate destiny.
The Brussels sprouts are rich in the various vitamins, including vitamin C that is essential in defending our bodies from the active and very disruptive free radicals. Only one cup of the Brussels sprouts contains 80 percent of our daily needs for the vitamin C.
Finally, one thing my kids like. For a reason unknown to me, my beloved children are choking in this reddish smelly vegetable. Pickled or fresh cooked, it doesn’t matter. They just adore it with the same passion they seem to hate anything of a green family.
Beets is a beautiful root vegetable that also contains extremely high levels of the antioxidants that will protect us from cancer, but it also contains huge levels of the lutein that will help us preserve the healthy vision.
