LIFE COULD BE TOUGH WITHOUT INNOVATORS

What could be a life without any gadget? What would it be like if we do not have television to watch news and events from other places, refrigerator to store foods, washing machine to use for washing and drying our clothes, electric lights that can be used at night, or even cars? For sure, everyone’s life is so tough without those innovations or invented devices.

Innovators have been inventing materials, new machines, and even ways of doing things easier since the ancient times. Often times, people invented materials or anything to solve a problem. Sometimes, they come up with new discoveries by accident.

Have you ever try to know if what were the first discoveries?

During the time archeologist try to search for something that was used by the ancient people, they first discover stone tools. However, no one could prove if what was the very first material being discovered. Even the name of the first inventors is unknown. Accordingly, the prehistoric people invented axes, knives, and hammers made of stone (this was ten thousand years ago). They also discovered ways on how to tame or train animals and ways to grow plants as a source of food. Ways to make fire and keep it burning was their discoveries too.

Other important inventions that the prehistoric inventors did were pottery, ways to build house and wheels.

As times passes, innovations are being invented and some of the first discoveries were improved. Every new discoveries and inventions enjoyed by the people because it made life easier.

Some list of the greatest inventions (since the year 1400’s to late 1800)

• Johannes Gutenberg, a German inventor, invented printing press during the 1400s. His invention made it easier for the people to print books. After the invention of the printing press, books became more common to the people. Through books, the other inventors gain ideas to create new things.
• During the 1700s, steam engine was invented. After that, inventors create new machines like steamboats, locomotives, and all kinds of factory machines that are powered by steam engine.
• In the late 1800s, internal combustion engine was developed which led to the inventions of automobiles. The inventors still improving the engine, which is being used nowadays in trucks, buses, cars, airplanes and other transportations.
• Electricity was also invented during the 1800s. Many scientists studied this and it led to many electrical inventions.
• After the discovery of electricity, Thomas A. Edison, an American inventor invented the phonograph, electric lamp, and other electrical materials.

Nowadays, it is easier and faster to invent new machines, materials, and other things than before. Innovators can easily create toys, video games, computers, telephones, kitchen appliances, televisions, and many other things.

Many famous inventions, scientists, and engineers are creating and developing things that are necessary for us. Lately, some students from universities and colleges are being known because of their inventions.
