Prayer before learning the points:
O Lord God, open your heaven and bless us as we constantly raise our hearts in prayers to you. Please, remind us always that we cannot do without you, hence by prayer we can achieve all things. Help us to live according to your will for our lives, families and ministries, through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
Text: Psalm 121:2 “My help comes from the Lord; who made heaven and earth”
Introduction: The Psalmist wants us to realize that we cannot enjoy this life or achieve anything without referring to God always. We need supernatural help which alone comes from God. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Without me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5)
The above topic calls for a pattern or organized time to reach the throne of God in Heaven. The Psalmist points out that “looking up to the hills” will not solve our problems.(Psalm 121:1)This is because God does not live in the hills like Baal and Asherah, the gods of the heathen, rather he lives in Heaven. This is revealed in the prayer Our Lord Jesus Christ himself taught His disciples on their request. He started with these words” After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. (Matthew 6:9).
Our God is orderly. His creation does not conflict with each other and when this happens, the disorder is a sign for man’s disobedience to God’s orders. This calls for us to accept God as Father, Jesus Christ as His Son, and Holy Spirit as their inner power to approach God in an orderly manner.
To organize means to arrange in an orderly way, to make plans, arrange for, to establish, to enlist or cause to form-events, programs and invitations to approach our Holy God. The above definitions point to an orderly plan and manner for a Christian to approach God for his personal matters and for the good of others.

Growing in spiritual wisdom means being virtuous in the eyes of God. People may call you stuck up or holier than thou but in the eyes of God you are valuable. According to Proverbs 31 you can have a profitable life with good relationships, a happy home life, and successful business ventures, as long as you run your life according to God's principles. Therefore you should not allow other people's criticisms and opinions to weigh you down. Instead, be concerned with obeying God and being a valuable jewel according to his will.
