The last cookie (for now): M&S Cranberry and Orange

Another day, another cookie post! Cookies are definitely something we crave for whether for a snack or dessert. These sweet mouthfuls are enough to satisfy hunger pangs or if we want to give in to a sweet tooth craving.
Making our own cookies is quite easy but there is some disadvantage to it. One of the things that I don’t like when doing things DIY is that the food can easy become stale. Not unless I am baking for a big group or if planning to give as giveaways, then it is easier (sometimes healthier and cheaper) to buy the grocery options. That way, I don’t need to feel as if I need to finish the entire pack thinking that it will become bad.

Tesco has its own range of cheaper cookies but the flavor options are limited to chocolate chip only. So when I am craving for something that tastes different, M&S is the store that I go to. The prices for a pack is double the amount I’d spend on the Tesco cookie range that’s why I don’t buy often from M&S. But hey, if the craving is that bad, then I need to get my cookie!
This is the last post of the M&S cookie series. To be honest, there was one more cookie pack that I haven’t written about but before I was able to capture a photo for this, it was gone! So I guess I’ll wait for the next time to buy it and write the appropriate review (and blame my husband for finishing the pack before I can take a photo of it, LOL!).
Anyway, the last pack (for now) is M&S Cranberry and Orange. I am not sure whether this is a seasonal option. M&S is really good promoting products according to the season so I will not be surprised if this is any longer available when summer is officially over.
Similar to the first M&S cookie that we bought, this is not overwhelmingly sweet, too. It seems that M&S knows how to balance out the sweetness so this is a great way to enjoy the cookies without getting too much sugar in each bite. Apart from that, the cookies have generous portions of toppings. In this case, it is dried cranberry and orange pieces – so these definitely add up to the sweetness as well.
For those looking for fruity cookie flavor, this pack is definitely for you. It is a refreshing change (for me) to have this instead of the usual oatmeal or chocolate-based cookie flavor options. It’s definitely a great tandem with a nice cup of tea to balance out the sweetness.
Overall, I really love the M&S Cranberry and Orange cookie pack. My husband finds it so-so, but that’s just him since he liked the chocolate cookies better. But for anybody who is not much of a chocolate addict like me, this is the better option!
