Know Some Deadly Facts About Toothpaste

This was the issue before that toothpaste can cause cancer. My goodness, what will be the odor of the human breath? Why was this became the big issue in the pasts months. I think competition is the main cause. Two or three years ago Colgate Toothpaste with a brand I won’t mention was banned to display in the malls and stores for it was found out by researchers that it contain deadly chemical called triclosan. It was not only toothpaste; likewise, hand soaps being banned for it contained this triclosan an anti-bacterial component.

It was already learned in the past that triclosan causes health problems to humans. Triclosan can also be traced to other stuffs believed to have contained triclosan like deodorants, cosmetics and others .But didn’t they file a case to the manufacturers, plus, it must be shown in their products mixtures of a toothpaste, hand soap or the deodorants , cosmetics , so this problem won’t come up to the recent time.

It was also believed that triclosan might be present in human urine for when we brush our teeth, we floss and there might be some residues that penetrate to human body thereby, accumulating the triclosan there. A big cause starts from a very simple beginning, yet deadly ending,

The worst is why the medical doctors didn’t and heads of state banned the operation of manufacturing companies with triclosan as one of the components? What do medical doctors and governments are doing in this worldwide discovery of triclosan?  Why do lawmakers in the world allow manufacturers to manufacture products like toothpaste with triclosan? Are they thinking about tax they pay to them? It should be, after learning triclosan present in soap and more, the government should have ordered closure of some resin

Triclosan does harm to our skin, how much more to our mouth that is being brushed three times a day? There are so many bad effects of triclosan to our body. It could cause mal- functioning of our thyroid gland. Therefore, one will experience fatigue, depression, brain fog, heart beat affected, fatigue, irregular heart beat if keep on brushing teeth with triclosan.

    • I think I have to use another toothpaste of long ago hehehehe . From the standpoint of the old generation, tooth brushing using guava twigs can be useful for a small twig part can kill bad smell and stop tooth decay. I do not know how true is this.LOL>

    • These are some interesting toothpaste facts. I have changed so many toothpaste I didn't even knew how many I used and thrown.

    • @Mahesh,I think toothpastes manufacturers making bad images to their competitors because mentioned in the media and others that Colgate is not a good toothpaste for it contains much triclosan. When we use the other brand, it's taste is the same and I do not think so that only Colgate contains triclosan;likewise other brands.

    • Thanks for sharing this information. I knew most of the low cost toothpaste might contain some chemical that caused oral cancer, but just not sure the name of the chemical. Thanks for telling on that name, Triclosan and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, the latter is can be found in most of the shampoo or cosmetics.
Thus, I have quit all the cosmetics currently until my son doesn’t know what is lipstick. He thought it is sticky glue. What a cute boy is he.
And, I try to use those organic toothpaste but it is much more expensive, about 4 times of the low cost toothpaste. But, we have no choice as we might swallow some toothpaste during the teeth brushing process, right?
I have not sure if the medical doctors or the medical board of the country should ban those harmful manufacturing of toothpaste or not. In fact, most of the chemical stuff of the cosmetic products are not good to our health and skin. Try to avoid it if possible.

    • I do not know much about this, but the other day I was sick the moment my toothpaste touched my mouth and I still have not found a brand that doesn't make me feel ill. Somewhere I read you can just use bicarbonate of soda. (Baking soda.) I am planning to research that.
