Jumbo Snickers Cookies

For more and my kids, we have the common favorite chocolate bars for sure, Snickers and Mars.

However, we prefer Snickers as it has more nuts, less caramel and more chocolates plus the rice crackers were very filling, sweet and delicious.

These chocolate energy bars would surface in our household during Christmas holidays, it is a real treat for my kids and myself too.

Besides snacking Snickers as a quick energy snack, I had decided o turn these sweet chocolates into cookies with a little creativity of my own.

Normally, chocolate chips cookies are favorites among kids and teens but Snickers makes cookies extra chewy and the satisfying crunchy bites was far better than store bought chocolate chip cookies.

How to prepare Jumbo Snicker Cookies

This Snicker cookie recipe is easy to prepare and quick to bake.

All you need are:

Snicker chocolate bars

sugar- castor sugar or refine sugar but not coarse sugar. You can use icing sugar too. Brown sugar, add in extra 100g to the original weight.

butter- unsalted butter taste better than margarine

flour- Use self raising flour. Alternatively, you could use plain flour with 2 tsp of baking powder

Quick cooking oats– helps to combine with chopped Snickers chocolate bars, in order to form a grainy texture. Oats help to stick the batter together instead of butter.

Size- Work your way round to create your jumbo size cookies by diving the batter into 12 portions. Round up one batch on your palm and lightly flatten it with the back of a stainless steel fork.

Remember to allow some space in between the cookies for spreading during baking time.
