India Won the Series 4-1 And This was the magic of Yuvraj Singh

India by winning the 2nd One day International, 3rd and 4th one day International already won the series 3-1 with 1 more game to play. These was the dead rubber game for Pakistan as it will not impact on the status of the series but still they want to win this and India also wants to win this game and try to win by the margin of 4-1.

This match was played on the National Stadium, Karachi, Pakistan on the 19th Feb, 2006.

India again won the toss and decided to bowl first, So its Pakistan who will bat first and set India a target.

Pakistan started very well in this math but still they lost 4 wickets at the score of 115 in 21.5 over’s in the form of Imran Farhat, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Mailk and Inza mam up haq. Pakistan went on to set target of 286 runs in allotted 50 over’s at the loss of 8 wickets.

India needs to get 287 runs in 50 over’s to win the series 4-1.

India again batted superbly and got the target in only 46.5 over’s at the loss of only 2 wickets with the contributions of Gautam gambhir 38 runs in 50 balls, Rahul Dravid 50 runs in 82 balls and Century from Yuvraj Singh who made 107 runs unbeaten in 93 balls with 14 4’s and strike rate of 115 runs in 100 balls and MS dhoni who made 77 runs in 56 balls with 6 4’s and 4 sixes at the strike rate of 137.

India went on to win the Series 4-1 and Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the match and also Man of the series for his consistency in batting.
