India batted very well and aggressively and was able to post total of 271 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 8 wickets and with top scores of India Star batsman M Viajy who made 72 runs in 95 balls with 1 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 76 runs in 100 balls and Indian Opener and Skipper A Rahane who made 63 runs in 83 balls with 7 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 76 runs in 100 balls.

Zimbabwe was needed to score 272 runs in 50 over’s to win this match and to level the series of 1-1 as they already lost the 1^st match.

Zimbabwe started well and aggressively but lost its way in the middle and end over’s and was only able to make 209 runs in 49 over’s and was bowled out and top scored by Chamu C who made 72 runs in 100 balls with 9 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 72 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 62 runs and leads the series 2-0 with 1 more games to play.
