Sri Lanka was needed to score 177 runs in 29 over’s to win this match.
Sri Lanka batted well but was able to chase the target of 120 runs and was able to make only 96 runs in 24.4 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and lost the game by 81 runs under D and L method and with top contributions from D Chandimal who made 26 runs in 54 balls with 1 4’s and 1 sixes at the strike rate of 48 runs in 100 balls.
India won the match by 81 runs.
