India Beat Sri lanka in 6th T 20 match of series in 2009

India was scheduled to play a 7 Match T 20 International series in Sri Lanka in 2009. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 2 and 4. Sri Lanka batted well but was unable to chase the target of 141 runs and was only able to make 135 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 8 wickets and lost the game by 5 runs and with top contributions from M Jaya who made 30 runs in 50 balls with 2 4’s and 0 sixes at the strike rate of 60 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 5 runs and series stands at 6-0 in favor of India with 1 more game to play.
