India Beat South Africa in 2nd ODI of series, 2010

South Africa was scheduled to play a 7 Match ONE DAY International in India in 2010. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 2 and 4. India batted well and was able to post total of 401 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 3 wickets and with top scores of S tendulkar who made 200 runs in 147 balls with 25 4’s and 3 six at the strike rate of 136 runs in 100 balls and D Karthik who made 79 runs in 85 balls with 4 4’s and 3 six at the strike rate of 92 runs in 100 balls.

South Africa as needed to score 402 runs in 50 over’s to win this match.

South Africa well but was unable to chase the target of 402 runs and was able to make only 248 runs in 42.5 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and lost the game by 153 runs with top contributions from Ab De Villiers who made 114 runs in 101 balls with 13 4’s and 2 sixes at the strike rate of 113 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 153 runs and series stands at 2-0 in favor of India with 5 more games to play.
