India was scheduled to play a 7 Match T 20 International series in New Zealand in 2009. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 2 and 5. The 4th T 20 international match was to be played on Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand. India holds the upper hand as they are more balanced team and playing very well as well.

India batted well and was able to post total of 180 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 8 wickets and with top scores of Sachin T who made 70 runs in 50 balls with 8 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 140 runs in 100 balls and R Sharma who made 40 runs in 30 balls with 3 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 133 runs in 100 balls.

New Zealand was needed to score 181 runs in 20 over’s to win this match.

New Zealand batted well but was unable to chase the target of 181 runs and was only able to make 170 runs in 19.1 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and lost the game by 10 runs and with top contributions from R Taylor who made 70 runs in 50 balls with 3 4’s and 4 sixes at the strike rate of 140 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 10 runs and series stands at 4-0 in favor of India with 3 more games to play.
