England was scheduled to play a 7 Match ONE DAY International in India in 2013. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 2 and 4. India batted well and was able to post total of 285 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 6 wickets and with top scores of M S Dhoni who made 72 runs in 66 balls with 7 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 109 runs in 100 balls and S Raina who made 55 runs in 78 balls with 2 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 71 runs in 100 balls.

England was needed to score 286 runs in 50 over’s to win this match.

England batted well but was unable to chase the target of 286 runs and was only able to make 158 in 36 over’s at the loss of 10 wicket and lost the game by 127 runs with top contributions from Joe R who made 36 runs in 50 balls with 3 4’s and 0 sixes at the strike rate of 72 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 127 runs and series stands at 1-1 in favor of none with 5 more games to play.
