India beat Australia to make series 1-1

This was quite an interesting match. Now-a-days I do not watch cricket match as I used to watch in past. But I watch Test matches especially when it is in exciting situation. So today I watched the match. Australia needed 188 runs and India needed 10 wickets. 188 is not big total but the pitch was not easy to play on and off course the home crowd is a factor. Australia started losing their wickets in regular intervals and finally India won the match.
If we look back to the last four days, Australia dominated the match from the beginning. India scored only 189 in the first innings and Australia took 87 runs lead. 87 is very good lead in low scoring matches. In second innings Indian batsmen did better. So you can say that India played well in the second half of the match.
It was a bowler’s match. Natham Lyon made a record by taking 8 wickets. For any vising country to India it is the best bowling performance. But surprisingly in second innings Hazzlewood, the fast bowler took six wickets. This is also the best figure of him. In Indian pitches taking six wickets and that’s in third innings on the match is quite surprising. I must say Hazzlewood did a great job.
From the Indian bowlers, sir Rabindra Jadeja took six wickets in first innings and Ashwin took six in second innings. As a captain Virat Kohli did a great job by changing his bowlers effectively. The Australian wickets fell whenever the changes of bowling happened.
Lokesh Rahul has been declared the man of the match for his fifties in both the innings.
This made the series one all and series is in level. So we are expecting another exciting which is going to start on 16th March.
