My husband about more than 15 years ago had Alopecia Areata.
Alopecia areata as defined by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alopecia_areata is a condition where there is hair loss on the other parts of the body specially the scalp, forming bald spot.
He was at that time, travelling 10 hours to and from Manila by air-conditioned bus because he took the responsibility of the shuttler so he could see me in Manila, where I was working that time. . And he would do that every other day.
But the lack of sleep since he can’t sleep well in the bus, has taken its toll on his health that he had alopecia areata.
So he had his injections on the said patches of his scalp. It was painful he said. And after some months his hair grew back.
Two years ago , I also had it . The doctor told me its stress . But I don’t have stress . Or maybe because , I lack sleep because I only get about 6 hours or less of sleep each night .
For myself , I have proven that I should be having 7 hours so I will not be sleepy at work .
Lack of sleep is by itself stress .
So I also had injections and the cream I applied for twice a day given by the same dermatologist that my husband went to long ago .
Then because the cream was expensive , I researched on home remedies for alopecia areata and found a concoction of blended ginger, alcohol and a bit of virgin coconut oil. I didn’t buy the cream from the dermatologist anymore.
After 3 months the new bald patches already had some fine hairs and until finally they were all covered .
Now, the bald spots are gone, but still I am applying the concoction on the upper top part of my head where my hair have thinned. Well, thinning hair is said to be part of aging but I am still hopeful I can regrow that part with hair.
I know, that thinning part will soon grow hairs again. Thanks to this concoction I was able to find in the net .
Do you also have thinning hair?

Ha ha ha , don't be afraid because you are not old yet like us . This also comes with aging . So don't worry . And one thing more , it is said that is you part your hair at the same place , that can also be a cause of falling hair , thus your hair will thin out . So , part them in different parts of your hair .
