I was amazed to find so many ways of enjoying the life without spending any money during my stay in Australia having so many places where we could have fun just sitting and watching beauty so generously allotted by Mother Nature.
I think there are biggest parks and green grounds in Australia compared to any other country. Although, the country is four times bigger than ours and the population almost nothing at 20 million compared to our 1.3 billion Australia provides too many facilities in their nearly empty picnic spots.
I found walking and jogging tracks, bicycling paths, walking paths on main roads. I walked through some of the most wonderful parks very well maintained with hundreds of varieties of flowers from several continents with every detail of every plant and every flower mention for the benefit of the visitors. I feel what I saw was the greatest attraction for tourists even more than they find visiting nightlife or gambling clubs etc.
I have my own ways of having fun while on a visit to a foreign country and the first of them is always the same, I search for walking areas or better still if I can find the walking trails and there is no shortage of such walking trails in Australia. In fact my favorite Australian city Sydney is famous as ‘The walking city’. Australians love their walking so they have even formed groups for the purpose and go for long walks.
I will never forget my experiences of walking through various Sydney walks and one of them is right in the heart of Sydney city near the Sydney Harbour Bridge. That gives a nice walking experience and view of the Opera House at the same time.
I had a wonderful time seeing in all the dancing at the local restaurants and aboriginals displaying their shows and all this without spending a single cent. I will provide you with further details in my future posts.
