I have a really bad headache few days ago,it hurts really bad in one spot and feels like its going to explode soon. It was like a sharp pain in that spot.It was characterized by possible sharp pain behind my ear at the base of the skull along with correlated shoulder pain which was last for days and weeks at a time until misalignment is corrected. Medications provide only short term relief when taken.
After taking pain killers I got relief.Main reason of headache is probably stress related.
There are few more reason for headache.
I know about migraine, beacuse one of my cousin is suffering from this.
Migraine headaches is usually one sided, more common in female sensitivity to light, there is pain behind one eye, and throbbing brought on by bright lights, and chocolate, cheese also, or menstrual cycle. You can also have visual aura around lights and things may taste odd.
And the headache with i am suffering is cervicogenic. It is beacuase neck.
There is few more type of headaches.
Cluster, Allergic, Visual, sinus and mild. But I do not know much about this.
If you also have headache and If your headache is progressing in intensity, frequency, changing in character or affecting your and quality of life, I will suggest seeing your doctor soon to discuss your symptoms to rule out serious causes and consider possible preventative measures, for investigations and interventions. And Your doctor may ask you to keep a headache diary to identify the time of day you experience pain, intensity of your symptoms and any potential triggers that increase your headaches, such as alcohol, or noise, may be certain foods, and stress, sleep also pattern change or menstruation. It is important to review your current medications with your doctor as they may be contributing to your headaches as well -a specific example being birth control pills.
Try to do all this things to get rid of headache. This is my routine.
First Drink 16 to 24 ounces of water as dehydration may cause headaches. Dehydration is also stress. If you are fasting then this can fill an empty stomach and allows you to continue your fast.
And the second is Eat a banana daily.Bananas are loaded with the potassium which helps alleviate all headaches. In addition it is filling and an empty stomach is stress.
And Take a pleasant shower daily.Do not avoid to take shower.
Destress by turning off the phone, and TV, and the computer, clock and do not watch the news.
And Lay down for a nap,to unplug brain you are only going to think about what else you can do to de stress.
This is my routine I use to break the headache cycle. You can do the same or add other stress reducers, such as the cold compresses, ear plugs, and sleep visors herbal teas.It is important to have a routine so that. And you can get control of the headaches and not vice a versa.
I know we get headache,we can not concentrate on any house hold chores. We can not spend time with family.Try to do yoga also.It also helps to get rid of headache.

I rarely have headaches but when i do they are very strong and tend to turn into migraines which are the worst. I don't have any routine to relieve the plan because it hardly happens. Sometimes i take some medication to help but most of the time a coffee helps relieve the pain.
Today i had some bad luck and am with a huge headache but i dont have neither coffee or painkillers nearby. I have to endure the pain until it decides to go away.
Good thing I do not experience it often. But if I have a headache, especially if it is at the lower back part of the head or nape, I always check my blood pressure because it might be due to high blood pressure. Just to be safe.
