How to jog

Health is the most important part. No one wants to part with it. One such health management tip includes jogging.

Easier said than done. People like to run and this running is a fitness mantra. Yet, there are some misconceptions associated with this. Let us cover them and get the basics clear.

Warming up

Jogging is a process involving running at a pace. It is an activity of stretching your muscles. Your muscles need to be loosened up before you try to stretch them.

So, it is a custom to warm yourself up by jumping and stretching just before you go for jogging.

Shoes & dress make a difference

Yes, they do. You need shoes to cover your feet. It is shoe who gives you comfort while walking. You need proper running shoes which gives you a comfortable run. They also prevent your feet from unnecessary injuries. Make sure you have them whenever and in whichever way needed.

Similarly, your dressing sense is also important. Try having such clothes which absorbs body sweat is recommended.

Water = life

Whenever you undergo jogging, you sweat excessively. So, either directly OR indirectly you are losing water. You need to compensate by keeping yourself hydrated. So, take considerable water before, during and after the exercise.

While jogging you need not be SMARTEST, mere SMART will do. Keep yourself clear and set a SMART goal so that you can make success. SMART stands for Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant and Timed.

Have a specific goal which can be measured in terms of time and distance and it should be relevant and achievable.

Exercise does not integrate with pain

If you are injured and having pain, it is not recommended to jog. You risk of increasing your problems if you do.

Also, scholars do not recommend putting headphones ON while jogging.

So, these are basic details needed while jogging. If you can manage these cases, you can manage your fitness schedule easily.
