How to crack any CBSE Examination

Ever since its inception, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has always been one the most sought after boards of education in the country. While the pattern of examination has witnessed a sea change over the years, the board has managed to hold on to its significance. The board exams conducted by CBSE are some of the most stressed out times for any student in his or her entire life.

Over 10 lakh students registered with the CBSE each year for classes 10th and 12th. In the year 2015, about 13,73,853 students registered to write the class 10th exam with the CBSE, while the number of students registering for class 12th board was 10,40,368. With such huge numbers getting repeated year after year, there is no wonder than the CBSE boards have a cut throat competition with 0.1% marks deciding the differences between the toppers and non-toppers.

If you are also sitting for the CBSE exam this year or the next few years, here are tips for you.

1.Social Media isn’t meant for studying

Making Facebook and Whatsapp groups for ‘studying” purposes is in vogue these days. But as interesting as it may sound, the fact remains that social media is not meant for studying. The group may start for a serious purpose, but more often than not, it ends up being a platform for fun and frolic. If you really want to talk to your friend, call him or her. Whatsapp isn’t an option.

2.Hit a pause button on Movies, games, TV series

Watching a movie or a TV series in between chapters is considered as ‘stress buster’ by many students. However, this can be extremely detrimental to your study routine. One episode leads to another, one movie leads to another and your entire study routine goes for a toss. A farther you stay from these, the better for you!

3.Making list of ‘Things to do’ isn’t going to help much

While making such lists can help you ensure that you don’t miss out of important things, just making these lists isn’t going to take to anywhere. Rather, focus on the tasks at hand would be much more helpful for you.

4.Sleep at least 8 hours a day

One of the first compromises any student makes for his or exams is to cut down on sleeping hours. While this seems to be normal, it can be extremely detrimental to the preparations. A week or so before the exams, you need to stay as relaxed as possible. The CBSE exams are a test of your mental ability along with your knowledge. Stay relaxed would help you get the best out of you.

Keep these points in mind and believe that you can crack any CBSE exam. Nothing can stop you!
