You can fail at anything.
You can fail in the kitchen, you can fail in the boardroom, you can fail anything, anywhere, at any time.
To fail means you had the ability to get into the door but once inside you messed up. Big time.
Maybe you thought you could improve on the recipe, maybe you thought you knew more than the boss, maybe you thought you were so special that rules didn’t apply.
To give you a great example of a failure I’m going to use a particular actor. I’ll call Ham Cakes, (whom I mentioned in another article)
Due to his appearance and ability he got a role in a serial. Now one of the things you know as a viewer, if the characters catch you, you’ll become a regular. The show will go on for years and the actors will profit.
Ham Cakes, with his bad attitude, was dropped from the serial and hasn’t worked regularly since.
Why?
To be a failure you need to have a certain crummy attitude. You need to take those around you as inferiors, you need to consider yourself superior. You need to express this with presumption, insult and become unpleasant to be around.
You need to be like Ham Cakes, who made being on the set uncomfortable for the other members of the cast and crew and so was dispensed with for the sake of a comfortable environment.
To be a failure you have to behave in a manner in which you take no criticism or correction, that you believe you know it all. That you think if you hold yourself as regal others will bow.
You must proceed despite warnings and explanations so that everyone can say; “But I told him!” when you make a complete hash of it.
Presenting second or third rate work as if it is correct, or that you don’t think they deserve better is a great way to fail. Not taking instruction so going off on a tangent which has no redeemable features will get you out the door pretty quickly.
Many people who are Legends in Their Own Mind have an inflated image of themselves. They think they should be in charge, they think they know better, and often push themselves to positions they can not manage.
Because they are not honest with themselves, because they don’t know their limitations they may very well get that appointment, but once they have it, they can’t manage it, so fall on their face.

I think it is normal to be in a failure situation. The best thing to do is to learn how to stand up and ready to face the challenges again. It is a learning process to be successful. Life is not perfect. It can still be the ground of balancing failure and success in life.
This is a sarcastic piece. It is written about an actor I know who has faded into oblivion. He's a born failure do to his attitude and behaviour.
I was sharing what not to do.
Without failure there can never be a success, failure therefore comes before success because all those who succeded in all fields of life failed many times. Failure therefore is not bad by itself. Failure becomes failure when one fails to act on a shortfall they face in their life.
