Lizards are found in almost every household. Some get a creepy feeling or are scared of lizards. Some are concerned about health hazards when too many lizards make their home in houses
Lizards could be contained and this is my personal experience on how to get rid of lizards if not all atleast most of them . Whatever the reason they need to be eradicated. A house infested with lizards gives the impression that the house is not clean.
I do not mind a few lizards running around as they trap mosquitoes and other tiny insects
.One lizard visits me daily early in the morning. It will crawl on the ground where I am working on my pc. It looks as though it wants to befriend me. .
My pet Preiti likes to chase them and enjoys doing it. Seems they both have fun.
Having said that I really would not like an army of them visiting me. I have tried a few of the following methods and they have worked for me. Some of my friends have tried their own way and I will mention them here as well As they say, personal experience is the best advice anyone can give on any issue.
1. Put a screen on windows so that they cannot enter.
2. Place egg shells at places where they are most seen
3. Even Naphthalene balls chase away lizards
4. Lizards dwell where they find insects and insects will be there in dirty kitchens. Keeping the kitchen clean and taking care not to drop food particles will reduce the presence of pests.
5. Lizards like dark corners. They will be seen behind cupboards, beds and tables. Frequently changing or shifting furniture will drive away lizards.
6. I do not do this but some use pepper spray.
7. Then there is an anti lizard spray and here again I do not use it.
A few lizards are fine as with the mosquito menace which is a concern the world over, lizards could play a small role in eradicating them.

in my house, I could find 20 house lizards, you are lucky to have one tiny fella.
These lizards grow over the time where there is food. So garlic and lemon grass help to keep them off the table
Also maintaining a smooth and slippery wall will help keep lizards away from home.
