How Organize Are You

Whether you are a single or married person, it is a good

habit to train yourself to be an organized person in order to

make your life easier.

In this article, I had listed out some questions and answers

about household organizing and I would be happy if you

could join with me this challenge by writing your own

answers

Everyone had his/her own way to organize his daily activities

at home, different people with different nature.

I would be very delighted to read your post , to know how

organize are you.

Do join me!

Do you:

1. Make the bed every morning?

Yes, I taught my son to make his bed every morning too

except his daddy.

2. Do you pick up clutter during a regular cleaning, or do

 you keep up with it?

Yes, every time toys or books are scattered on the table or

floor, I instructed my son to pick them up and return to the

original places

I even make sure the sink is clear from dirty dishes and

wipe the kitchen table top after cooking.

3. Do you clean out a bathtub as you are getting out of it

, or do you do the whole bathroom at once?

There are 4 members of family and each day each person

shower twice a day.

If I had to clean, it would be 8 times per day.

Crazy! I cleaned the all 3 bathrooms once in every two days.

We use shower head, no bathtub.

4. Do you do small chores while (waiting for food to

cook, the bath to fill, etc.)?

Oh yes, everytime when I had to wait for the stew to simmer

or frying fishes, I do wash up the dirty dishes.

Besides that, I also fold the clothes or mop the floor while

waiting for the cake to bake in the oven or waiting for the

washing machine to finish washing 2nd load of laundry that

 usually takes 45 minutes.

5. Do you cook meals in batches to use for later?

That depends. I do make extra muffin batters and pancake

 batters in batches.

Sometimes, I also  make extra batch of grill chicken

marination in advance.

6. Do you put together lunches for the week?

No, lunch depends on who is at home.

When the kids are at school, only me and hubby are at home

.

So we have simple and quick lunches daily, such as

 sandwiches or pancakes.

Kids will be home by late evening. That will be dinner time.

7. Do you arrange your clothes a certain way?

Yes, in 3 rows=towel, outing clothes, at home clothes.

 Same goes with my kids.

8. Are your kitchen cupboards organized by function?

Yes, they are pigeon hole cupboards; beverage, biscuits,

health supplements, seasonings ,etc are categorized in

each space.

9. How about your spices? How do you keep them?

Each spices are filled up in recycle bottle jars (mayonnaise,

jams jar ) and labeled too. Keep them in the fridge.

10. Do you do double duty when you are watching

television shows?

Or, said differently, can you JUST sit and watch a show. (That’s life skill.)

When I watch TV variety show or drama, I would fold clothes

or blogging at LiteracyBase during commercial breaks

11. Out of the house–do you group errands?

Different day for different errands.

Grocery shopping on weekend, pay utility bills on week days,

 etc.

12. Do you tack on driving errands at the end of a work

 day?

My hubby drives so he does that. I sleep during the journey.

    • I am so organized person. It is all started in the family's house. My mother also trained her children the household chores at an early age. It is a big NO for my mom that the children will not do their tasks every weekends.

    • @peachpurple In my case I have help around and I just need to get the work done. But getting the work done I notice is more difficult than doing it yourself (lol)

    • I am an organized person and that's what I pride in. I don't like dirty or untidy spaces because that makes me very uncomfortable. And who like a dirty environment anyway we all went to sit in a clean surrounding. Every Saturday when I wake up I always do my thorough cleaning all over the house. I usually start with my room as I move onto the living room, then the kitchen. I also go an extra Mike to clean my Windows in all the rooms of th3 house, dusting and the scrubbing. My bathroom and my kitchen are places that needs to be clean at all times without fail.So I take particular attention to those two places because one bacteria is very prone there.my cupboards ar3 always neatly arranged for easy access. It makes things much easier to handle.
