Due to regular work and late night freelance work as designer, I think my sleep pattern was affected a lot. And I wanted to change this as much as I can. I was not sure how to do just that. So I focused on working in time upto the limit I can feel exhausted. However noticed that this habit took a toll on me. And it made me worry a lot. I remember my sleep was reduced to 3 hours. One has to consider how much less sleep pattern is going to affect the health.
Few of the notable changes that happened – my weight increased. I had changed in apetite and also started having some panic attacks. I gained weight and thought it could be leading to heart issues. So I wanted to change this as much as possible. But due to work and life balance, it made it difficult for me to continue. I tried to do exercise but I used to get tired. And this habit of not exercising also increased the weight again. I had to curb on diet and remove some of the items from my everyday food. But reducing weight was really hard.
I decided to make some changes over a period of time. I managed to get more sleep at night. And this in turn helped me reduce the weight. I have however managed to cut a few calories in short time. But this didn’t helped me much. Instead I think sleep habit have helped a lot in health. For example with sleep improved, I can focus on exercise. I walk around 2-3 km every day. And this slowly helps getting me cut some weight.
I have lot way to go but sleep pattern improved, I think I can get back my health. I think weight loss is the next to be something I have to do. And I have to get my weight back in order. Otherwise this may affect my health and It would be difficult for me later.

I don't exercise whenever I lack so much sleep. I know that I cannot exercise well and would pant easily if I do that.
When I lack sleep, my gums becomes weak that it pains me when I chew. This is the number one indication that I lack sleep.
In order for me to be able to sleep early at night (10 p.m.) I don't open my iPad or use my phone anymore an hour before that. In addition, I now drink my calcium supplement at night because I have read that it helps in making you sleepy. So far , so good, I can now sleep as early as 10:00 p.m.
