Healthy habits for a healthy life

In this fast changing world, it is difficult to stay healthy. So, why not follow some simple ways to keep you healthy without spending extra money and time? Here are some of the simple ways to keep us active and healthy.

Have a glass of water before every meal

Drinking water is essential. So having a glass of water before every meal will help you to stop eating past your point of hunger. It helps in limiting your meal.

Have one healthy meal

Have one meal, yes only one. Then in that meal change what you have. For example, if you are having lunch, reduce the intake of rice and replace with nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Be prepared ahead of your lunch time and try to have a balanced diet.

Have a productive lunch

After lunch just don’t sit idly instead go for a walk, stretch or do something and use your lunch break to be effective. You will burn some calories and also you will not feel sluggish and sleepy while working.

Go for proteins instead of cake

Having proteins is good and healthy too as it will have you energetic all day. Have something in protein with low calories like a protein bar. This is a stop you from feeling hungry during midnight.

Hit the gym routinely

It is important to go to the gym regularly after all exercise is fun, right? Go to the gym at least 4 to 5 days a week. It will be difficult for newbies but eventually, it will become a habit in the course of time.

Sleep regularly

It is very important to have a good night sleep. Working late night and compensating the sleeping hours in the morning will not improve your health and it will worsen it. Try to have 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Sleeping rejuvenates the body and prepares it for the next day. If you don’t have a good sleep, you will not be able to concentrate o your work in your office ending up doing nothing worthy of the time invested.

That’s it, folks. Real simple, right? We are responsible for whatever happens to our body. As the saying, “If health is lost, something is lost” we better not lose it and regret rather we follow some of these steps and stay healthy and happy. Thanks for reading.

    • Drinking a glass of water before a meal will already makes us full. We will not be able to eat or enjoy the foods anymore especially when on a restaurant. Though, when we are at a restaurant, we don't do that because we paid for the delicious meals we don't get to eat everyday at home.

      I think, I only have one meal now and that is lunch. I eat only bread and coffee for breakfast and eat lunch at 10:00 during our snacktime at the office.

      Lunchtime, I will be taking my power nap for 15 minutes and the rest I watch my favorite soap on my laptop.

      I take a snack, a bit heavy . Then , just an apple for dinner.

      I also do exercise for more than an hour on weekends since it's the only free time I get.

      I guess, that will suffice for my having a healthy habit?
