Have you been to a hospital that looks like a mall?
It has those restaurants we see at big malls and have escalators and elevators to bring you to the various floors of the hospital.
You can also see a flower shop and some grocery shops. So convenient indeed for those who are staying at the hospital to take care of their confined sick relative .
They don’t have to go to the city proper to be able to buy what is needed by the confined patient they are taking care of at the hospital.
Though, these hospitals are those posh ones that caters for very rich people, where they have lots of money to afford the high rates of the rooms offered in the hospital and the medical services being offered by the hospital . And you bet, the operation cost are also expensive of course.
My cousin too whose daughter recently gave birth to her firstborn at Qatar, went there for a vacation and to also attend to her daughter while at the hospital and she posted the picture of the hospital.
You will be amazed at how big the lobby of the hospital is and its as if it’s in a first class hotel.
Well, I haven’t asked if it has restaurants and fastfoods like that in the hospital I am talking about that is like a mall .
It was actually maybe more than 10 years since I last went to this hospital and when we took a vacation in Manila, I went there to supposedly have my mammogram.
I was with a friend when we went there and I was really amazed that it’s like this already . in fact, my friend and I met at its spacious lobby that looks like the lobby of a hotel.
What I am talking about if Makati Medical Center.
Well, I haven’t been to other hospitals in Manila except St. Luke’s Hospital at Quezon City , and the restaurants are just near their premises but not within the hospital , though their canteens are very nice too. But, I don’t know though if other hospitals are looking like malls also as to their amenities.
Have you been to a hospital that looks like a mall or a hotel already ?

Actually, it' a nice concept of a hospital to be like a mall indeed. At least, the people taking care of their sick relatives, won't have a hard time going to a place where they can buy their necessities and foods at any time of the day.
With the flower shop, at least those who will be visiting can just buy from there and bring it to the room of their sick friend or relative to be visited.
Actually, this is also one way for the hospital to earn more from rentals of these restaurants and shops.
