what was the 1st amount you had earned online?

I remembered vividly that the 1st amount I had earned online was USD$10 from PayPerPost It is a site where you write review for a company, introducing the product and how to use/buy it online. My first task was to write for “Icaught” review, where I put the Santa claus image in my own photo. Initially, I was worried that I might be paid because my review wasn’t as good as the other writers but I was glad when I saw $10 in my paypal account. That was my first earning and I was jumping on the couch like a crazy mad horse. What was your 1st earning online? Share with me

Hi @peachpurple, Glad to know about your first payment. The first amount I earned online was a small amount of 5 or 10 dollars from clixsense. However, since they send me a cheque, I did not encashed it. It is because, when I enquired here in India with people in the know, I was told that the bank charges will gobble up the cheque amount in dollars and so there is no point in encashing it. So what to do? I am keeping it as a memorabilia. It is lying somewhere in my almirah. |

http://172.104.9.193/members/raaman/ LOL! Sometimes, the amount that you had earned couldn’t cover up the fees charged by the bank, right? Yeah, i was thinking about adsense, if I cash it out, I will not be getting $100 which is the min payout. In Malaysia, the bank will hold on the foreigner cheque for 1 month, charges and fees and taxes, by the time I have the money bank into my account, I think it will be half of it!
Thanks for your share! By the way, I had read your recent posts and shared at FB too! |

The first amount I earned was at myLot. In fact that was the first site that I registered with a paying site. It was 10 dollars. |

I think my first amount was also from PayPerPost – probably something like $3-$5 for writing a post that really didn’t fit my niche (I was writing about homeschooling then, and there weren’t many ads for things like school supplies!) I didn’t stay long with PPP because the rules made it difficult for me to carry on my regular blogging, and as I had a WP blog it was technically against the rules to post sponsored content. My girlfriend referred me to Associated Content in 2009, and that was when I really started to earn money for writing online. |

@peachpurple The first online site I worked on was bubblews. I got $25 as my first payment. I earned regularly on the site (about 100-150$ every month) before the site stopped paying. |
|
MY first two payments came the same day in 2008 in the month of November one from Triond and another from MyLot. Both these sites I had joined the same day and had the same Payday every month 8th or 9th. My payment from Triond was $ 14. something and 10+ from Mylot. Before that I was working for only Indian sites with no regular payment but gifts in cash and kind. |

I was so lucky the first time i ventured into on line business. It was my niece who recommended me to join the site based fro France, The Apple Wood Consultancy. Unfortunately it shut down after having competition in the market. They manned a magazine company and their sources are based fro m the on line writers. We were given only topics to write and expanded three times articles, that is why we wrote 30 articles per week. Per article at 300 words each was paid at $2 x 30 = $60 US dollars a week. I cannot describe my happiness receiving a big salary end of the month. We were the one submitting our voucher and after 24 hours the payment is forwarded to Pay Pal. |

I have earned at least 10 cents on one online job I had and it really wasn’t worth it

My first online payment was from the site where I am a teaching assistant and I made $10 writing notes for a student. |

http://172.104.9.193/members/bestwriter/ I see that a lot of people had joined mylot many years ago. Congrats on your first earning there! Thanks for your share
http://172.104.9.193/members/ruby3881/ you too were at Payperpost? I was there too but only got 1 chance to write Never got any chances after that so I gave up Malaysians are not be ing paid for Associated Content , so I didn’t join in.
http://172.104.9.193/members/swalia/ Oh yes Bubblews! That was the only site that I had earned the most! Too bad it cheated my $400 and others too. Otherwise, it would had been the biggest paid site
http://172.104.9.193/members/sunil/ I had never able to reach the minimum payout at Triond. Maybe I don’t get the idea how to write there. Are you still at Triond?
http://172.104.9.193/members/lovern/ wow that is a very good pay $60 per week! I wish I could have that ability to write like you, congrats!
http://172.104.9.193/members/kari1993/ yeah unfortunately not all online jobs are worth it. 10 cents is like donating to the poor . Might as well stick to here and you will earn $10 by the end of this month! best of luck!
http://172.104.9.193/members/markyg/ wow, did your student paid you $10 for each notes??? That is cool earning! are you a tuition teacher?

As far as I can remember, I had acquired $10 as my first payment before. It is also my first attempt to earn money online. A friend of mine introduced this site and the rest is history. If I just only knew that there are some sites like this, I would be able to have extra cash prior to the introduction. |

Nice to hear about the first earning of @peachpurple,I got my first online earning in 2012, and it was around 2500 Indian rupees for an Indian site. Similar to literacy base, it included contests, forums and article writing. It was equivalent to around 37-38 dollars at present rate. |

This time on line jobs give less fee, but at least they pay. Better Blogjob, we can see our earnings and get paid religiously. There was also Bubbles good source for income, but gone away. There are many good sites that disappeared like bubbles. |
|
For me it was very low amount. May be few cents only, not whole $. Even for that one I was very happy as it was very long time ago. Now I am doing well with help of some good friends. |
