The Conjuring 2 Movie Pre-Review
Author | Posts |
I am not sure if we can share the link of a movie trailer from YouTube on this sites, but if you are into shocking horror trailer like this, you would want to watch the trailer of the second installment of James Wan, The Conjuring 2. The story is based on the paranormal activity of the couple, Ed and Lorraine Warren. Based on the trailer, there is a family and they are being disturbed with a devil. I know they are about to encounter a very hard enemy this time as I saw how much Lorraine had suffered on the trailer. I would love to see this even if it will give me a heart attack for sure. The trailer when there is a ghost nun in the mirror really cuts my nerve. I am really scared after I saw that. I am glad I was watching this one during the daytime. I am a fan of two of the actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. They look good together as a couple and everything about the acting fits the story. I am always mistaken this movie from Insidious because Patrick Wilson is there too, lol. Surely, I will be watching this one.

Thanks for sharing this. After watching the first movie, just wondering will they create the new sequel and after 3 years finally the Conjuring 2 will be able to watch on June 🙂 And me too Grace, Patrick Wilson made me things The Conjuring is like a spin off of the Insidious LOL |

@haraka because of the presence of ever gorgeous Patrick Wilson that is why we think that the movie is just one, lol. I love Patrick Wilson and he is now getting a career from doing these kinds of movies. |

I have not seen all of The Conjuring yet, but I really want to. I have seen several shows that have to do with Ed and Lorraine Warren. I think they are great people and have helped so many people with this type of problems. Have you seen Annabelle? This movie explains the history behind the doll and how it relates to The Conjuring. I know I want to see The Conjuring 2 even though I do not like horror movies, but there are some that I will watch. |
|
Yes @morgoodie I saw Annabelle too. I have reviews about Insidious, Conjuring and Annabelle on Blogjob actually. I love all of these movies and this is my ideal horror movies. Yes. I even read about Ed and Lorraine Warren on the Internet. I want to watch their videos, no one is uploading at YouTube. |

I recommend The Conjuring, if you have watched Annabelle then you gonna like it too 🙂 I love all of that (Insidious, The Conjuring, and Anabelle), but maybe my favorite for now still Insidious. Maybe because it’s more close to me because i’m little bit understand about Lucid Dream 😛 |

I am not fond of horror movies. They make me shiver and shudder when I am alone and I feel someone is standing behind me all the time. I am sure my husband and daughter will love to watch this movie (they are the brave, adventurous souls of the family) but I will make sure I have some very necessary errand to do at that time 🙂 LOL

@haraka I probably would like the Conjuring. I have seen bits of it, but just do not seem to get it at the beginning of the movie when I see that it is on TV. I do not have a lot of time to watch movies and always forget about the ones I haven’t seen, but wanted to see. @dawnwriter I do not like horror movies either, but some of them I can watch as long as they are not blood and guts like the Saw movies. I would rather have the suspense and mystery versus gore any day. I have not watched Insidious but have seen the commercials for them. The last one, I thought looked good, but I am afraid to watch them. |
|
@morgoodie Well, for Insidious, i think it’s really good for the Western horror movie – the best horror movie usually come from Asian country like Thailand and Japan. For me, it’s kinda “un-describable” horror? – especially if you know and have knowledge about Lucid Dream. Do you like gore genre? Like bloody Thriller one? LOL, yeah you know the main purpose of horror movie to make the audience feel haunted 😛 You’re like my mom, she will sneak out to her bedroom when me, my father, and my bro watching horror movie. She will happily “pass” and go to the dreamland 😛 |
|
@haraka I had a lot of lucid dreaming too after watching those and is really making me scared. For me, it is more of a nightmare, or sleep paralysis to be exact. @dawnwriter you can share these horror movies to them and please watch it when you are together, the lights is not off because you will truly get scared. The sound/music background of these movies is what really thrills me and I hate when I scream when the movie is trying to scare me. @morgoodie Saw is really gore. I don’t like watching movies with lots of knife and blood. It doesn’t appeal me much. I am afraid of blood, for sure it will leave me having stomach pain.
I do not like watching horror movies during the night when I am alone. I even don’t watch horror videos at YouTube while reviewing calls because my bedroom is on lights off.

@Grecy Yeah, I do not like gory horror movies, I would rather have a suspense thriller where there is not a lot of blood and guts. I get scared easy too and have too vivid of an imagination causing too many nightmares. I can read horror stories and they do not bother me for some reason. I guess because I am not seeing the things that are described in the books. |
|
@morgoodie I do not bother reading horror stories too and I love reading it and apply my imagination but visuals makes me have continuous nightmare and I am glad I able to survive it. I think it is bad when it reached to the point that we always have nightmare it means we are really into it. |

I love horror stories and horror movies. With that being said, I think I read too much about something before it actually comes out in the movie form. I have knowledge of both Conjuring stories so when I saw both movies I was actually a little disappointed. Conjuring 2 could have been so much better if had more of the true facts in the movie. I didn’t find it scary at all. Conjuring 1, was okay, not scary at all. I am friends with Andrea Perron, one of the girls that this story is based on (she’s grown now) and I have read her book. Her books are scarier than the movie. She goes into more detail than what is allowed. I would be scared to live in that house or in that area. Don’t get me wrong, both movies were good, they could have been scarier. 🙂 |
