What defines quality
Author | Posts |
The internet is rife with all kinds of millions of pages providing information on every subject under the sun. Writing sites such as this have members who are not professionals but have interest in writing. What they write should evince interest in readers not necessarily those who are seeking information which is available on the Net written by experts and professionals but everyone who seeks a breath of fresh air. I would therefore like to know on what basis posts here are judged.

I have no definite measurement or yardstick to gauge the quality of a post which deserves a better points or earnings. For as I have experienced if I write a longer answer, I receive a certain coin and when I do the same with another forum or post I may receive a different coin or even lesser compared to the first one. I am confused indeed on what or how quality post is rated. And I don’t what is quality for LiteracyBase as far as writing is concerned. |

All my 300 words posts are paid 15 cents, a lil longer 22 cents and as far as I know the higher pay I got for a post is 35 cents. The good thing is that you can post without the limitation and if you worth anything your post will be published. I like to produce the longer posts myself because it will actually give me those 35 cents plus I don’t need to change topics but only make an effort and chew one topic at the time properly.

Every writing online sites would prefer to have quality posts to garner more traffic. However, some of us are not qualified or in dept with freelance writing. As for me, I am just an Asian homemaker. I write whatever I could think out of the box. Who is the person to judge whether whose article is considered as quality posts? That i would like to know and what are the criteria for a quality post? Maybe someone could enlighten me here |

@bestwriter for me, good quality posts mean posts that help me solve problems without the need to read through pages and pages of theory @peachpurple You have given me an idea for the third fun writing project! On second thought, it is not a fun writing project, it will be an seo-theme writing project. |

Based on what I have read, post quality is very subjective. But for the sake of what SEO wants for an article, we have to consider the following factors that could be found in one’s content of an article as seen in the screenshot below: 1. It is well written and has substantial quality content. This is what I have searched from SEO periodic table which is about the content elements to consider a post quality.

@nakitakona13 Quite informative. This need to be kept in mind while working on our blogs. |
|
@nakitakona13 thanks for sharing that one. Me, quality is all about good information provided. Since I do not know anything from SEO to anything about blogging, I can’t measure the quality. Is the site being visited by a lot of visitors, the one that trends, the one that is mostly talk about, the favorite topics, are these all with quality? I guess readers will be the judge on this or maybe I am wrong with my ideas. As a reader and a plain blogger, I would love to read something that became useful to me because of the information provided. I consider it as quality content. |

@ Grecy Garcia – I too think information is the key which can be packed in small blogs too |

As for me, the content of a post makes the usage of words jive into appropriately. It is not matter of being an expert in writing. But, a person shown know the basic principles of grammar and types of writing style. In time, this person will be a good writer in his or her own style. |

@Shavkat Each site has its own rules to define quality and here support has given their thinking. |
|
@bestwriter I do agree on this my dear friend. Sites have their own guidelines in making a good quality composition. I won’t put this statement against you. That’s the reason why, aspiring writer should take time to read the site’s basic rules to be well-informed to meet the requirements. |

Ultimately the purpose of setting up a writing site is to earn money. If someone writes an article that pulls in $1000 over the years, and the site pays you just 50 cents upfront for it, that is the best scenario. |

@scheng1 You said it (lol) |
