Spam Messages again

Yesterday I received two spam messages from a new user ‘Mara’ asking to share my personal email address for the purpose of friendship beyond this site. I have reported the user to the @support. In case any of you recieve spam messages then kindly report them so that the site stays free of spammers.

I also received that message. Well, I didn’t feel mystery about this member. I knew it was a spam message from her. Why can’t people play fair and square? This is not a place for fooling around and deceiving other people. |

@ shaloo walia Look like that user has sent same message to many users. Even I got one. I knew this is just scam message, so I ignore it. I think admin will take care of the user after you have created this thread. So no need to worry. |

@shaloo walia, I been away ere for 2 days and when I opened my account here, there is a note that I have a new message from that name you mentioned here Mara.Why are there many spammers that enter into this site so easily? Are they not protected? Don’t they have spam filter?So annoying message. |

i received it too, why are these people so annoying? Anyway, I ignore his/her message. For sure it is a spam message If he/she wants to talk, can do it right here at LB |

@swalia This is the first time I’ve been able to properly access the site in days. I logged in to find 1) a spam message from “Mara”: 2) no ads on the pages; 3) the account balance and points history are missing. Wow! Not a good day for LB 🙁 |

@ruby3881 I was flabbergasted when my ID itself was not seen. I did several trapeze acts and finally I saw my ID and yes both balance and history are missing. And incidentally what is going on at the other site. It says it has shifted. Are you facing the same problem? |

@bestwriter Write to support. @Anand I had written to support as well and they replied back that they will take care of it. @ Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) Seems like this spammer has contacted most of the members here! I had reported this to support and I hope they will take the required action. Yes, disappearance of ads again is surprising. However I can see points history and account balance.

@swalia Those spammers hit a lot of sites. it’s nobody’s fault. It was just another brick in the wall that day, so to speak. @bestwriter Yes, we all had issues because there was a huge influx of traffic that was more than the server was intended to handle in the early days. I’m happy the owner chose to migrate to a dedicated server. Any future upgrades should be seamless and not cause interruptions for the users. It can be more expensive to go this way, but it is a good investment if a site owner can afford the extra fees. They can really hurt a site’s earning potential. |
