Notification not going away

I have the word “Array” three times (I guess as a notification) in the lower right hand corner of my page and it will not go away. it has been there for days now. Anyone know why? Thanks!

It’s a known issue. Something related to the last upgrade/maintenance cycle. Support has the coders looking into it. If you’re seeing the “Array” notification, you might want to go to your profile and check your notifications and messages tabs. You may have items waiting for your attention, but they aren’t showing up as usual.

I had the same thing and I found out it was a friendship notification and went to activity and clicked and found this out. Have a good day. |

@oksummer They will not go away until you take care of your notifications but you hardly deal with them more will appear – actually a good sign that there is more activity for you.(lol) They are irritants though as they block what appears on the right side of our screen. |

well, I had noticed that New Replies had increased. When I click Delete or Read, those Array still stayed on the right hand side No difference at all. Still, it did served a good purpose. At least I know I had new notifications coming in. The only thing that irritates me is, those arrays are blocking my view when I use smartphone. If laptop, it doesn’t block my view |

i have checked all notifications. all go away but the Array ones. |

Array is some kind of arrangement. I have it right now. I know I checked all my notification already but I still have it. Maybe it was left due to some upgrade, they failed to put it out or they will be putting something on it that replaces the word Array once they put it in it. |

@markyg, the array button you can see here at the right bottom part of this site, it is not only for friendship request notification. It is also referred to mentions (the so–called tagging of a member, calling his/her attention. There is a time that it is not displayed or there are times that the normal notification of any activity is displayed along with the orange array button. @support has given us the clarification for this. He said it is attributable to Internet glitches. |
