I see there are two places where we can upload images. In one of my posts I uploaded two but I ย only see one. I assume one is for the title and the other in the body of the posts. Please clarify.

I am sorry, the one that I posted on Choose File is not visible or maybe it was not attached at all. |

@Grecy are those your cats????? I love them!!!! They look so adorable and really cuddly!!! Sorry I didn’t read it post I was too distracted by the cute little buddies you have there.. |
|
At least I learned here why two pics are required, so unique site lover of images. |
|
@graceย I think you are allowed to post just one whether you post it inside or as featured photo. Because as soon as upload your first image the system says you have reached your image limit. |

I noticed this when I wrote my blog post and wondered what the difference was. I used Add Media and it was in the body of the post. When I checked to see what the other one did, the picture showed up under the post where it says choose file. Above that it says attachment, so maybe it is for the title or some other place besides the main body of the post. Not sure, it is a little confusing for me, but I will just use the Add Media button from now on. |

I haven’t try to use to browse a file for attachment in post before. Perhaps we can experiment and see how it works. Thanks @grecy095 for trying that out. I am thinking when we click on “Add media”, we can add the image wherever we want. But, for blog post, if we add the featured image, it’ll be displayed at the top of our post, and it might be resized to the ideal image size. Whereas while we add media, it seems like it’s just the image size as we uploaded. I am trying to add an image here.

I have posted more than one inside the post. And my posts have been approved. |

@sunil I consider what you said. I guess the site allows only one. It is good to have two photos but it will be eating some GB for the site, just assuming. @slayer08 nope, not my cats sissy, I found them at Pixabay. I have the pictures of my cats actually. I can share it in here.

Sorry, just now I was trying to attach an image, but not successful. I wanted to try to attach a text file, but I was called by my little girl – she woke up in the middle of the night, so I accompanied her to sleep, and I fell asleep too. ๐ Here I am trying to attach a text file. See if it works. ๐ UPDATE: Okay, that file attachment doesn’t seem to work for an image file and text file. So, what should it be? Perhaps @support will let us know better. ๐ |

@bestwriter So, you managed to use “Add media” button to add two images inside the blog post, am I right? I have not try that before. I usually just use the “add featured image” function. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240"] Just for testing only[/caption] @grecy095 I always uploaded my image to Flickr first, then only copy the URL here. Though it’s more troublesome to do so, I can manage my images easier, and you can also choose to upload the same image in several places. It will not eat up too much space of the site too. I am not sure if Flickr is a good image hosting, as it seems to be quite troublesome to use, but it offers 1TB space. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240"] Another testing for add media.[/caption] I have used “Add media” to add two images. I am wondering if these two images will be shown. Just try the third one and see how. Okay, I have added three images. Waiting for the result. ๐ UPDATE: It seems like I can keep adding images via the “Add Media” button. But if I configure the properties of the image (set it center, add caption), some weird words (HTML tags) appear. I just found the “insert/edit image” icon up there, I totally forgot about that little icon. I am trying to use that now. ๐ [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240"] testing for 4th image and using insert image icon from toolbar[/caption]

@support Just for your information, I tried to attach files to the forum post, no error or warning occurred, but the file was not attached to the post. I also tried to add or change the properties of the image I inserted to the forum post (both via Add Media button or insert image icon in the toolbar), the HTML tag or is it called BB code is displayed around the image. If I remove all the image properties, then it’s displayed fine. Please see the forum post above. Thank you. Hope this helps you to troubleshoot. ๐ |

There is a tab ‘insert image’ on top which I use for inserting images in between posts and it works. Here is one of my posts – you can see it there http://172.104.9.193/the-sun-and-me/ I keep size to 512×384. ย I have not tried the featured image. I shall do so one of these days. That would perhaps go with the title.

really? One image per post ? Let me see if I can upload my cat pic here…..
can anyone see my cat licking? OK, if you can see this pic, then this is weird. I had just “Add Media” to my new post. 5 of them but below 1MB each photo. Then I add a Feature image to my post too. I had just submitted and it is :”awaiting for approval” The featured image is much clearer than those in the post itself. Maybe I had to wait until my post gets approved . Then I will know whether it is 1 photo or more. Thanks anyway for your information. I will keep you update later
