This is my first time writing a Rant post at LiteracyBase.

I had seen many writers posting rant articles daily and I thought of writing one myself.

Yesterday, I had wrote a rant post about my dad.

It was a post about my dad called me because he missed me and I feel the same way too.

I had mentioned about our conversation in the post .

However, I was surprised that LiteracyBase doesn’t seem to like it.

Of all the posts that I had submitted and published, this is the lowest pay rate I had ever received, 0.10 cent!!!!!!!!

It was a 668 words post!

Shouldn’t I get at least 22 cents for it?

All my 500 words post I had been paid 22 cents.

Obviously, this had proven that Rant post just isn’t my cup of tea.

I would NEVER EVER write rant post again!

Very disappointed and shocked that pay rate for a rant post would be so low.

May I know how much is your lowest pay rate for 500 words?

Have you ever been paid 0.10 cent for a rant post?

I seldom write 500 words.  Most of my posts here are 300 words, and the lowest rate is 10 cents.

I think your earning of 10 cents is not enough to pay for your electricity that you used for writing and publishing the posts.

I think in future, just write 300 words with good seo.

@peachpurple Next time you post an article here keep a track. You will be amazed to see that your posts are credited @15 and 22 cents no matter what is written in your notification. Try it …

@peachpurple, Really? So it is not good to write a rant post.Maybe they like moderate post contents. The pay for your post is very small.Why not try to ask why that so small so that we can have idea that having a post in rant receives a small pay. Thank you so much for sharing this too.

I haven’t tried to post a rant. If it pays a few cents, then what a waste of time. I am still exploring the site as a newbie.

@peachpurple  I think they are trying to get people to write more SEO content and are paying according to quality and SEO. They are paying not based on the word count anymore. So even if you write a 600 word post, it doesn’t mean you will get paid the same as before.

@shavkat If you rant about something passionately, you probably can finish the writing of the post in 5 minutes, and you make 10 cents.

That is not too bad.

@morgoodie @peachpurple Probably the only rant that meets the seo requirement is to rant about Donald Trump.  Writing about his hair style to his ridiculous attitude to the horror of him becoming a president.

That will be 3 great posts with good seo.

I have recalled that there was a member here who wrote a rant about his dissatisfaction of the paying scheme of the other site. The admin appealed to him to be mild or tamed with his post though it is his right to say whatever he wants to; provided it is not of adult content or porn. He didn’t mind the suggestion of the admin or the moderator. Instead, he got angry and even dared and challenged the admin to delete all his posts submitted here and were published. He wanted them to be removed instantly. He was told to be sober and give them time to do it.

I have presented this situation in my pending post that awaits approval. Hope it would get “live” for others to get informed. I entitle it, “He says, ‘LiteracyBase is a Scam”. Would you believe him? Would subscribe to his idea? His rant is the aftermath of his hollow pride. He won’t accept defeat or reason. He’s too demanding. Sad to know it.

@nakitakona13 I definitely know that person who rants about a site, and i know the site you are talking about. However, I did not get the part of him saying LiteracyBase is a scam because has he proved it to be one? Is this the same person as Anonymous now. I want to read your posts, please mention me when it goes live. I don’t know what is happening on the site as I am not always here. I never thought there will be a rant that is happening in here and there are people telling it is a scam.

@peachpurple I am the kind of person who loves to rant, you know me sissy, so if I did posts a rant, then I would be earning the same. I definitely post it in the forum instead. It is a lesson learned but the experience is not bad at all. You earn less but for sure you will be doing an amazing article soon and you will get over this, I would love to read this rant post of you and be appreciated for your efforts of letting it all out with the help of blogging. Your decision of not writing a blog post about rant is good, but you can post it at our forum, you can response to the comments of our dear friends as many times for sure because we are like a family here! I miss you!

@morgoodie I agree on that one too. Maybe we are really encouraged to write SEO, which I find it difficulty to write but sure I will try in the future. I love to rant so the news is a not so good news, but I am taking notes of the experience of @peachpurple.

@scheng1: LOL at Trump’s hair! I agree that he’s got to be the most trending topic these days.

Regarding the topic (OP), I still don’t understand how to earn “big” here but if it’s SEO-based, then a typical rant post would not cut it. Not unless you use keywords that are widely searched for in Google as part of your rant, then maybe you can demand for a higher rate?

@grecy095, yes I will tag you if it goes “live”. I think two or more sites which I also join he has been removed or banned from them. He has been in ForumCoin, in myLot, and in some small-time forums. I recognize him for he’s carrying one username all throughout other sites. If remember that he seriously ranted the PostLoop after he was denied membership. I don’t know if he has observed the code of ethics of blogging, writing, among others.

I am one of his many friends. To tell you, I am indeed confused about this guy as to his personality, actions, and work. Anyway, let’s not follow his wrong impressions He is always

@nakitakona13 Oh I know that person exactly. I am confused too about the personality as the person has always something to say about a site. I never thought that person will rant about this site as well. I don’t know what went wrong. I also saw this person as a anonymous in the site and no longer here.

I write a few posts everyday and irrespective of what is allotted as cash credit the fact is you get 15 and 22 cents for all your posts.

@peachpurple, Ten cents for a rant post is, at the least understandable since such type of rant posts do not have any SEO value and do not serve others in any manner. It is nothing like gossip and the meaningless queries of 140 character posts on twitter like ‘what you ate for breakfast’ and the silly things like that which were rampant when twitter was started. I do not know whether they are still continuing on twitter, since I stopped visiting twitter for that very purpose.

By the way, I think recently the site admin has reduced the pay rates. I never ever write any rant posts because I do not like that and I always write about matters on tech. Still, recently I got only 10 cents for a 300+ worded article and only 17 cents for a 500+ worded article. That means they have reduced from their previous level of 15 and 22 cents for 300+ and 500+ articles respectively.

This they have done without any announcement and I feel bad about it. Ultimately, it transpires that the site is not counting us on search engine traffic and we have do our work of sharing if at all we want to see some earnings here.

You all know me, I rant a lot but rant against the very site I write for? That would be plain dumb.

I am a newbie so far. Reason I came here in the first place was to have a second site that would replace the one I came from originally, Can I name names? Well, most of us have had good times and bad times at many different writing sites. I think it is different to have to give it 300 words or more but not impossible. Many who wrote for the other site had a hard time with long posts. I was always told I wrote too long a post especially when I first began writing for …. you know, that other site. lol.

If you don’t cut and paste a lot of junk into an article you are already ahead of the rest by over 100%.  I am having an good day and drinking my good hot tea. another meaning for SEO which means Satisfies Every One.  If a lot of people read your stuff the numbers will always be in your favor.
