It’s really surprising to see that LB failed to generate the hype like the other new recently launched site did. LB has successfully paid us for two months but still it failed to attract too many new users. Even very few of the registered members are actually active here. I know many of you will say that it’s our duty too to spread the good word about the site. But believe me, I have been writing good things about the site on forums and trying to bring in referrals too which I am sure most of the active members here have been doing.

It’s high time that LB staff needs to gear up for competition. Within 2-3 days of launch, the site has not only accumulated so many members but they are active members who are writing and posting- That too when even the payment model of that site is not clear. And here we have LB which has successfully PAID us for TWO Months and still it wears a deserted look most of the times.

It is too early to praise the new site as they have not even mentioned how much they will pay for points collected. Many have migrated from another failed site.

I am happy here and will continue as before.

We praised Literacy Base  and this happens with all sites when they start.

I am doing my job regularly on this site but may be feeling bit satisfied by the look of my earning here.

@bestwriter  I am happy and satisfied with LB but you will agree with me that the site can’t be run on the basis of a handful of members. How many active members you see on this site?

@ suny I am also regular here but it surprises me why LB failed to attract new users even after paying for two months!

@shaloo walia  Maybe the low pay rates have something to do with that but if people knew how to compensate on that account they would find this site enough attractive.

I am agree with @suny even I am regular on this site and so far I am quite satisfied with my earning here. I don’t know why users are not feeling right here, as I think it is doing good so far. From me no complains right now.

Blogjob had to stop registrations a second time that large was the community there – where is it now?   I did not get paid there even once.  I was there longer than I was here when I was paid my first payout.

@ suny  That’s what…even sharing payment proofs didn’t help! If we can earn, so can others!

@ Anand The ones who have been on the site since the start and paid can vouch that the site is legit and it’s possible to earn decent amount here.

@bestwriter It took almost two and a half months to reach minimum amount at blogjob and that too if you write consistently. Here at least we are paid every month.

I have to admit that there are WAY too many new sites mushrooming out there.

Right now, I focus on Literacybase since it has been paying me twice already, hubpages, had paid me since 6 years ago until now , no where else.

Yup, this site is not gearing up yet but maybe they prefer to have a handful of writers who are loyal and regular here, then they don’t have to pay more writers?

Btw, they had just started earning from the ads, just give them some time.

Can i use this saying “too many cooks spoil the broth, sometimes its just good to be fewer do your work the best way and you will never regret it. don’t be too much in hurry for something that is moving fast and leave the slower one you might just be surprised with what happens later.

I accept and go by the rules of a site in any case. How can I keep whining and still expect to work on a particular site. I am happy with LB and its working style. In fact it has everything a contributor like me looks for in a writing site.

@ bestwriter  I am comparing because it really amazes me to see the hype created by the other site and everyone flocking there to write when we aren’t even sure of their pay rates. On the other hand, LB has proved itself by paying twice and still it’s not attracting new members. The discussion is really about how we can promote LB  in a big way and in a positive light.

@shaloo walia, I am always absent here.Sometimes this site is not available.maybe it is my internet that is slow that hampers me to be always active here, plus I am teaching in university. I am teaching Physics and Algebra.These subjects need to be understood by the students who found these subjects hard for me. I always entertain my students during my vacant time in the faculty.How I wish to be full time here, but no, income is very small.
