What is @ruby3881 doing in the category ‘Popular Members’?  She is nowhere to be seen here.  It’s time the LB Home Page is updated. This Page is visible even to those who have not registered here.

I know where she keeps herself busy. Well, if I were you, let’s forget it. It doesn’t affect us after all. What we need is to double time, to keep it with the time so that we could reach the minimum cashout every month. I think the admin/support or the moderators don’t have time to update those in the homepage “star” writers. Or you just want your name to be included there. Am I not right?

I have that feeling too of what you’ve in your mind. I am thinking when I can have my name included in the said page. What’s the requirement? Is it based on the number of posts I have submitted? Is it based on the number of comments I have made? Or Is it based on the activity which I have referred visitors to this site? In short, we don’t have any idea as to what.

I am just contented of seeing my name or my avatar in the active part of this site. I am happy about. I feel satisfied when I see my profile picture there. And also I am happier to see my available balance keeps on increasing every day until it reaches the minimum cashout. In that case, I could make another cashout.

@bestwriter We have requested for this several times before too but LB staff hardly cares. There have been featured and popular members who are hardly active here.

@nakitakona13  There must be a reason for the site to display such statistics and therefore they should be correct. What we see here is wrong.

@shaloo walia  I am seeing such lethargy even in TinyCent . When you open your profile even there you see popular blogs outdaed.  What’s with sites I say  😀

Having said that could it be that they need to work on knowing who is active, which sites are popular and such?  Just saying.

@bestwriter, that is also what I noticed on that page, members popular, but I have not seen or read their posts. I think those popular writers might have many visitors only they can see outside of this site. Meaning to say, that the site also has is extension so they can also earn traffic outside of here. This is also what I observed when I was a writer at Triond. I wondered where those visitors were coming. I had in a month at Triond 345,000 visitors. I also felt sad why that site was closed. I like Triond for the duty of the writers is to write, not necessarily to comment and interact. There is no pressure. That is also my thinking about this site.I am just sharing my own thoughts about your query.

@cely  The site has not updated and that is the only reason – nothing to do with anyone there being better than the others.

yes i noticed that some of the members who are not active here are still under popular category.

Maybe the admin and support are too busy with reading and publishing our posts, that they don’t have enough hands to do the rest.

Let us just wait and give them some time to brush up

@peachpurple  I don’t think so…If the staff was so busy in reading and approving posts, we would not have encountered so frequent delays in post approvals.

@shaloo walia  This site is not doing well going by the number of participants here. There are no Ads as well. Unless there is participation the site cannot afford to have staff to do these chores as the site has to earn. This is my thinking.

@bestwriter There always have to be two-sided efforts. You, me and a handful of other members have been loyal since the start and doing everything we could but I hardly see the same efforts from the admin/staff. It’s their business too and they also need to be proactive if they want the site to be successful.

I see that issue too @swalia. I even ask myself, “why are their names on the homepage as ‘popular members’?” In fact, some of them are not active anymore. I guess it would probably the quality of posts they have shared, they have submitted, or the highest number of comments or reactions they have received for their post.

“Active members” are easy to detect by their day-to-day current posting activities. They may be reacting in the forum and in the regular blog post. Well, as to the updating of this controversial user’s status, I think there is a program or script designed for that. Now, it is time to rewrite it to make it updated and reliable.

@nakitakona13 I don’t think so! Quality of posts or high number of comments has nothing to do with being featured among popular members. @luciaanna is hardly active on the site but she has been among popular members since the start. @Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) stopped being active here ever since she became the moderator on BB. and then there is @dawnwriter who also is seen on this site once in a blue moon.

@swalia. I don’t know about others but I log into Literacy base daily. I have not written many posts but I comment quite frequently on forums and blogs.

I am sure Literacy base has its popularity algorithm all wrong but I do not visit the site once in a blue moon 🙂

@Dawnwriter I am sorry but then certainly I missed seeing you on the forums because it’s just a few members whom I see interacting on the forums daily.
