I'm confused…

I made a comment on one of the Blogs posted. However, when I’m done with my comment there was a note on top stating “You comment is awaiting moderation.” This is my first encounter and I do not know what it means. I might have done something wrong….? I’m confused.

@support Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. |

had noticed that too but when I press the “reply” button. It will state “awaiting…..” Instead, you could just write your comment at the comment box. Use @username ( the writer’s username) so that he/she will know that you left a reply. Don’t use the reply button. Then, your comment will appear instantly

I have never had a problem with the reply button. I have only done that once but it did not have to await moderation. I usually just use the comment box as well. Maybe the moderation is something new since I have seen someone else mention that they had a comment awaiting moderation. Hope it gets approved quickly. |

I don’t experience it here. It is only applicable to those blog site which the owner/writer enables its moderation function. They’re doing that to filter those spammy comments or reactions, among others. When you receive that kind of notification, it doesn’t mean that your comment doesn’t fit or has no sense. It waits for the action of the blog owner/author. You may wonder why it will take too long for your comment to appear. It is because the owner/author hasn’t updated its blog site or hasn’t read it yet. |
I have experienced this here, though almost 100% of my comments publish immediately. A few are occasionally held for moderation. It may be that I’ve commented to soon after I left the previous comment, or I may have used a phrase that trips a possible spam alert. I believe all the comments have eventually posted to the site. |

Oh it is on Blog. I guess the owner of the site sets their blog comments with moderation, just like other blogging sites do, though I haven’t experience it ever in this site. It maybe a new features. I am glad @support able to respond to your query. Hi @rachz85 are you from Mykites, you look familiar. |
@Rachz, Never be discouraged on this. All you have to do is comment again. At least you have now the idea about what to do next and never to worry at all. |
@peachpurple, thanks for letting me know. I thought I’m the only one who experienced this. |
@ruby3881, I checked my comments but they were not posted. 🙁 |
@grecy095, Yes dear, from MyKites to LiteracyBase. Unfortunately, when I checked on my comments they were not posted. 🙁 |
@rachz85 You should tell Support which posts you commented on, so they can approve the comments. |
I have noticed that it happens when you comment on a post usine the reply button |
@Dimple, really? That is what you observed? What is red button if that is the cause.Let us better ignore that button. |
