I watched the video that gives us instructions on how to earn and a few other details about the site. but the fact is that it keeps appearing whenever I click on a forum page of literacybase. I would like to know if there is a way for me to stop that because it’s really bothering me

@alina, that is part of site’s platform. It could be useful for the new bloggers to encourage them.It is really annoying and irritating, but there is nothing we can do.All I do is ignore it and just think I am listening a sweet music hehehehe.

sometimes its malware or virus because normal sites is not like that.

@ alina You can’t do anything about the video except to bear it. We have written to @support many times but they haven’t done anything about the autoplay of the video yet.

yeah this site has this video problem but you can turn off the sound that is annoying you.

i usually press the pause button to stop the video but had to keep pausing the new tab that i created.

never mind about it because the admin can earn money.

otherwise how are we being paid then

@peachpurple as matter of fact I always keep my sound off because I do not wish to get distracted with sounds while doing serious work but one thing is for sure that this video is doing more harm to site than doing good. It makes pages so slow that a visitor loses his interest and goes without opening them. I am sure that’s what is not the intention of the site owners.

@shaloo walia Besides it is using up a lot of precious data which costs far more than what we earn here. I am seriously asking @support to please do something in this matter.

@ alina  As other said, you can’t do anything for it right now. You just have to bare with them.

@ suny  Even I hope they do something about it. Not only users, even readers which care coming form search engine and from other places will feel awkward about it. It is okay if their data is unlimited, but for limited data users, I am not sure if they will come here again and again.

@ suny  That’s the problem. I have a limited high data plan. And this autoplaying video eats up lot of data, is so annoying and totally unnecessary. But the support seems to have turned a blind eye to the members’ inconvenience.

@shaloo walia probably that is one good source of income for this site and we have to do as per the site’s plan as regular member of this site with so much on stake.
