We crossed the halfway point this week, so I thought it would be fun to check in and see how everyone is doing with their earnings. Are you at least halfway to your next $10?

Myself, I’ve published 12 posts since the beginning of June and I have one more in the queue. I expect I’ll be at or just past the $8-mark, once that last one goes live. I’m happy with that.

How are you all doing with your earnings this month? Has anyone noticed any changes (more income or less?) Are you happy with your earnings?

@ruby3881/

Morning dear!

Since June 1st, I had posted 32 articles here.

My earning as today when I log in here is $10, on the dot!

I am happy but disappointed.ar

I had checked out my post earnings and was surprised that our fellow friend’s comment was indeed true.

He said that with 300 words he had earned 10 cents and 500 words somewhere around 17 cents.

Mine was:

600 words : 0.20 cents

750 words : 18 cents

the 20 cents was a salad recipe post while the 18 cents was a parenting post.

All the while, 22cents had disappeared.

Now I have to write 3 post a day instead of 2!

My goal was 44 cents earning on 2 post

Now I had to put in 3 post to get them even!

@peachpurple I’m sorry to hear you’re having to work harder. But I should congratulate you on reaching your $10!

Do you think it’s just getting harder to earn in general, or have you noticed that some of your posts do get better money? I have a suspicion the rates went down just a touch, but I can’t be sure….

@peachpurple @ Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) Rates seem to have gone down. I generally write posts between 300-350 words for which I used to earn 0.15 cents but now it varies between 0.05 to 0.12 cents. I wonder what is the criteria for this variation of rates. How do they judge quality of posts if that is the criteria?

In any case, I have already crossed 10$ mark and I am happy with the way it’s going so far here. I think I will be able to redeem 22-25$ by the month end.

@ruby3881/

yes I agree with you that it is getting harder to earn here, back to square one when the first time I joined in pay rate.

I guess the posts with SEO ranking got to do with it.

So, I will be using Jaaxy to search for the keywords and add them into my post

I will be testing out today’s 2 post with the keywords, see how the pay rate goes and let you know soon.

@swalia/

congrats to you my dear!

You did a grand job with 8-10 posts per day. really ain’t that easy for you.

As I had mentioned, I think the admin is judging our post pay rate according to the SEO , more keywords used in the posts.

Like I had mentioned, rant posts isn’t working here anymore.

10 cents for 700 words is simply not acceptable to me

Best of luck to your $25 this month!

I am sure you can do it.

@peachpurple I have simply no idea about SEO  but I guess, I need to learn it if I want to be successful at writing sites and blogging. I think the posts are now being judged on the basis of SEO rather than the word count.

I hope the site implements some sort of advertising plan soon. It would really be tough for them to continue paying the writers otherwise. We can hope for decent pay rates only if the site is earning through advertising.

June 17, 2016 at 11:22 am

@peachpurple I did not write a single post in between May 25th after reaching $10.05 until June 10th the payday. Once I received my pay I posted couple of posts everyday. I hope I will make it to payout in the end.

@shaloo walia I have just posted a comment in low pay category. I think it is worth giving a try which should clear your doubts.

June 17, 2016 at 11:55 am

@ suny  Yes, I read your posts regarding the pay rates. I am going to keep a tab on my earnings rather than simply relying on the rates mentioned in the notifications. However I am still concerned about no advertising on this site. I wonder how the site is going to keep paying us in absence of revenues!

June 17, 2016 at 12:15 pm

I have not been writing much.  My earning is about $2.6 now.

I think I will not aim for cashout this month.  I will try to make it the next month.

I just lack the motivation to write!

June 17, 2016 at 12:41 pm

@ scheng1  Don’t give up…Even if you just write comments in forums, you can reach the minimum threshold by the month end. You still have thirteen days to make it and I think you can do it.

@shaloo walia I have an answer to your concern but that will sound too funny or unwanted in public forums so I will keep it to myself.

I just started working on the site so not anywhere near your earning guys 🙂 I am just happy to get started here to fill my “free hours” from my full-time work. I like working on sites like this instead of committing to freelance writing since my full-time work demand can spike any moment so I don’t want to stress out. Anyway, I am glad a good number of you will get paid next month. I am not sure if I will. Like everybody else, I don’t know how to earn at least $0.20 per article. I have no idea how it is based so I just have to keep posting and stay active when I can.

June 17, 2016 at 3:11 pm

@ruby3881, Congrats Ruby, you are almost to threshold.About the pay, it’s just okay for me for I am not always active here.

June 17, 2016 at 3:41 pm

@peachpurple I don’t write many short posts, but even recently my 500-word posts were consistently earning 22 cents. This is quite a bit lower than my maximum pay for a single post, though.

@swalia If I compare by the month, my earnings have actually gone up during June. But I did feel as if the pay went down this week.

I can still say that I can consistently earn a good bit more than 22 cents on a longer post. I know a lot of people think it’s less work to write shorter posts, but if you have to write 3-6 or even more posts per day, I’m not sure. As I spend time on titles, graphics and promoting each post, for me the longer ones (600-700 words minimum) are paying off.

June 17, 2016 at 4:58 pm

Keep on going guys. It is good for those who have already redeemed and have been paid in their PayPal respective accounts. Mine is $6.33 as of this writing. I have to triple it to reach $10 as my first cash-out since I joined last May 11. Right now I have 20 posts. One is awaiting approval.

I am not too particular for the post I have submitted, for the number of words I created. As long as I have expressed myself, I just receive any earnings or cents for my participation. I have tried to experiment it as to how I would be receiving. I am not easy or get timid of controlling my post. I want to write as to the best of my capability.
