Edit button urgently needed in forums and groups. Before we click the submit button everything seems perfect but later when the stuff is out errors stare at us.

@support – can you?

In addition, the edit button for the posted articles would be much appreciated.

I hate it when I missed out the spelling and grammar errors.

Forum and group edits are much sought. Maybe, we should type in everything in MsWord or Grammarly and check out before copy and paste here.

@peachpurple   The problem is no matter where we type some errors skip our attention and only seen when the matter is submitted.

Edit button is needed everywhere especially as the editor is not stable but keeps moving at the time of writing increasing the chances of typos. It would be very much helpful if we have edit button in place. I second  @bestwriter  at this point.

@sunil I have edit button for everything but articles, how come you don’t see it?

I am posting this reply to try to check the edit button because I failed to see it too. I am wishing for edit button and based on reply, you already seen yours. I want to check it with mine.

Edit button has time limit functionality, once you have published the topic or reply then you have 4-5 minutes to review or edit before It gets disappear.

Can we buy it?

Can we have a paid membership?

Can we donate our funds?

Will you be willing to pick a quality rater to induce members to post better articles?

Can we have a quality blog rating option for each other displayed on our profile page ?

Would you be upgrading page with more features and gameware to keep things interesting?

Hi @rapidblue – You always have many questions to ask and its good to have this level of Interest.

As you all are newbies here, we restricted the functionality to edit the post due to some security reasons. Once article is out and passed the moderation test then we are sure that this does not have any affiliate or plagiarism and maintained the quality. There are reasons to held this process of quality check, since search engines are getting smarter and so do advertiser networks. They don’t allow or approve websites where most of the content is generated by users or ‘user generated content’ until or unless they have very restrict quality analysis process in place. Bad quality literally hit the overall ranking of the site. By providing edit button in earlier stage of user can give the immense power to emend the tested content and risk of adding poor quality or spam. However you still have the ability to edit your articles by requesting us. This is more like a manual process as of now but edit functionality will be provided to high ranked users.

No you can not buy it.
No there is no such thing called paid membership in literacybase.
No such functionality to donate a friend. However we are thinking to add donation. If any user don’t want to withdraw or just wanted to donate NGO only.
We prefer quality, We do encourage our users to maintain quality and provide help & tips in this regard.
User can rate blog posts, there is the functionality. Our moderators have this criteria and they rewards extra points for this.
Yes, we have many features that are in development. You will find more gamification in coming days. Admin will announce some features soon.

@support Now I understand about the edit button better. No wonder sometimes I see the edit button, but sometimes don’t. I didn’t know we add the time limit functionality to the edit button. It’s interesting! 🙂
