I’ve had an issue for the last day or so, with notifications that aren’t working. If I click on the little orange box, the page reloads to my profile and then tells me there is nothing to see. It seems this is happening most when it comes to mentions.

@support I hope you can fix this…

Hi @ruby3881 – There is drop-down at right side of your profile tab section Show :

Make sure Everything is selected, If this is selected and still you are not able to see your mentions then select topics or replies then again select Everything. Hope this will resolve your problem. For more details PFB:

@support I actually did just try this trick before I saw your comment, and it finally worked. This particular web site set-up is notorious for getting stuck on the previous setting, so I know to try again. But most of the week, this has not worked. I’m hoping now that I’ve been able to see my mentions, they’ll remain visible 🙂

@supoport I’ve just been looking at some groups for which I received invitations. When I load the group page, I am told there is nothing to see. This is despite numerous attempts to refresh and to select “Everything” – or even to select for such things as “Membership Updates” in a group that has a dozen or more members.

Nothing shows in some groups, even after multiple attempts. Other groups, I was finally able to view a group description or a forum post. But only after repeatedly clicking, reloading, and trying a number of different filters and tabs.

I think this is an issue that should be looked into. If users can’t see content in the groups, it’s a potential loss of ad revenue.

I just had this happen with notification of a mention. It showed up in the little orange box in the lower right corner so I clicked on it. Got to my activity screen and it showed a 1 by notifications so I went there and it said that I had no notifications. So I clicked back to activity and clicked mentions and when I got there it said no mentions were there. So then I clicked on comments and found my mention that I had.

There is something wrong with the system or some glitches. I also noticed this day, when I clicked the orange color to read the notification, its just disappeared, so weird. I cannot anymore trace the message.Let us hope it will be correcetd.

@lovern Try to go to your profile, and click on the “Everything” in the filter as support explains above. Does this fix the problem?

I also met this kind of problem. I have properly clicked the temporary notification which usually is found at the right bottom of the page. And I was astounded to see them banished and could no longer find them. It is good @support has shown to us on how to follow this up in a tutorial with a screenshot to easy for us to follow. Actually, with that kind of situation I always encountered, I just neglected them.
